A very rare day where I don’t have the kids and it is a weekend. The house is all clean and tidy and I can spend the day doing what I like. Sun is shining, shades are on, music blaring. Markets, farm shops, cafes and views are the order of the day 🥓 🍱 ☕️ 🏔️

Good morning one & all. The last blooms of the roses are struggling through the heat. Sadly I’ve lost 4. Ernie Tuesday today but it looks another hot one for him. I’m off to chair yoga a bit later. Happy Tuesday all of you.

@charbhardy watered the pots last night, some pots were looking distinctly unwell but seem to have recovered I planted 3 bareroot roses 2 have survived & have buds Watering with a can is so hard - walking up to the tap, filling the can, balancing it on my garden walker, water & repeat🥵

Sometimes I intentionally don't go to bed but stay down on the sofa & fall asleep to the telly Because I know if I go to bed sadness, loss & trauma will overtake my brain Whereas if I stay downstairs I'm just 'watching tv' until my brain sleeps by itself Anyone else do this?

Things I did yesterday.... Picked up this lovely little dressing table for £30 as I need a bit more storage in my room & moved the Chaise chair downstairs for Hartley 😊 as he never goes in his blooming bed anyway 🙃

Biscuit is off her food today. Which is worrying. She’s been for a walk with Ellie and was apparently fine. She’s a bit chesty. It the car wasn’t in for its mot I’d likely vet her, may look for a late(r) appointment!

We've started the week under a cool and showery pattern Tomorrow, an area of low pressure will move in, bringing a spell of rain By the weekend, the jet stream is expected to shift northwards, allowing high pressure to build and conditions to become warmer and more settled 🌡️
