@GardnerSally @xCaregiver I'm sorry. I made it sound like living with a child's addiction is somehow easier than with a loved one with dementia and that certainly is Not the case! They are both Horrendous and I wouldn't wish either on anyone. And that glimmer of hope often isn't enough to keep us well

@ShellyStardust1 @xCaregiver Yes. So sorry for your trauma is what I meant. PTSD post trauma. But it was trauma the entire time. On & off I thought it was very unhealthy for any heart. I hope there’s help for you. Reaching out to more like you is a help. God blesses the hand that blesses others.

@GardnerSally @xCaregiver I've been the caregiver and the terrified mom. The difference with addiction is that there is still Hope!

@xCaregiver This happened to be while watching other diseases too. Addiction. I could feel the death spiral out of control and careening toward final breath. It was spiritually draining me. Physically I was probably in ptsd for years. My daughter is finally in recovery since April 24!

@mechanical_meat It was a Waymo. It dropped off two young guys and they got out with their eyes all Huge! They said it was a nerve-wracking ride.

@ShellyStardust1 an in-law and friend work for Waymo and Cruise. Waymo has been testing in Phoenix for years i think, they're white Jaguar SUVs with lots of external cameras.

Just saw a driverless car downtown Phoenix, with the worst drivers. What can go wrong?
