@DVLAgovuk Pl can you explain 2 questions. I have lost an EU driving licence. No i want to replace it with a UK one. My question is first in regards to section Prove your immigration status. If for example i sent you the Code of settled status letter is that Enough?

@RichHurstPhoto @paullewismoney There are no current strikes at the DVLA. Obviously it will have created a backlog but no one is on strike at the moment.

@Shellylouise @paullewismoney Do we know if it has officially ended or other departments now on strike, the backlog this would of caused and the fact it wasn’t mentioned on national news or for a reason why there is a possible shortage of drivers. Government spinning news

@paullewismoney the reason there is a shortage of HGV drivers is that the department within the DVLA that handles medical applications forming part of the license requirement is on strike, along with other departments for a month due to covid safety fears.Why isn’t this mentioned

@pdjack1907 @Nigel_Farage Public sector departmental spending is currently £842 billion including £42 billion on the department for Transport. As a taxpayer I expect public sector workers within that department to earn their generous pay and gold plated pensions. If not let’s outsource the DVLA.

The DVLA needs to work overtime to get lorry drivers on the road.

@tarny29 @DVLAgovuk Anyone with a full UK driving licence and a job can sign the photo, but yeah if his passport is valid that with deed poll is enough.

@DVLAgovuk still have not recieved a satisfactory reply regarding my sons provisional licence, we have no one to sign the photo, his passport is in his old surname everything else In his new surname, can I send passport, name change documents, NI number to prove his identity ???

@DVLAgovuk morning, I’m trying to do a D1 form as I’ve recently got married to change my name, on section 7 for signature, would that be my new signature or old signature for that part? Also do I include my driving license with the form or send it to different area Thanks!

Does anyone know how much money I need to send to the DVLA??? It’s £17 for renewing my photo which is what I need to do as mines close to expiring BUT I also lost my original one and it says replacements are £20? So am I supposed to send £37 to cover them both?? Help 😭

@crazzy23 @DVLAgovuk I dont think they've reached the 17th of June yet so hopefully they're just waiting to be processed.

@Shellylouise @DVLAgovuk 😳 is there a way to track those ? I am scared for my documents.

@DVLAgovuk the online status shows that the applications received by 21 June are being processed,but the online transaction status still states-Awaiting application return form.It was received on 17 June along with my passport, still no change in status.
