🚨 JUST NOW: The entirety of US Congress ERUPTS in a standing ovation when King Charles III drops this line “Magna Carta is cited in at least 160 Supreme Court cases in 1789, not least as the foundation of the principle that executive power is subject to CHECKS AND BALANCES."

Imagine getting in a time machine and going back to 1776 and telling the Founding Fathers that the King would one day be reminding America about the importance of democracy and our checks and balances. That is the timeline we’re living in.

King Charles says the quiet part out loud that his mother, Queen Elizabeth, met exactly 13 U.S. presidents, all of whom were fully clothed. “Thankfully, all of them were fully clothed.”

Thomas Massie just sounded the alarm: Congress is on the verge of handing Monsanto total immunity to mass poison Americans with glyphosate. This is existential for MAHA. “If farmers contract a form of cancer … from this chemical, if this makes it into the Farm Bill, you won’t be able to sue.” Instead of pushing to repeal Big Pharma’s vaccine liability shield, Trump and his cronies are trying to expand immunity for even more poison. It’s a complete betrayal of MAHA. And it would cause vastly more harm than all of the benefits that MAHA has done combined. @RepThomasMassie @MassieforKY

The Pope just condemned the death penalty after the Trump administration decides to expand it with firing squads in the U.S. "The Church teaches that the death penalty is inadmissible… The right to life is the very foundation of every other human right…"

Trump would allow a Comedian at this year’s Press Correspondents Dinner so Jimmy Kimmel decided to do a take of his own talking jabs at Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth and it was Brilliant. Did you like it?

Sometimes the greatest ideas can be found in the oddest places. This is Bette Nesmith. At 17 she married, had a baby and her husband went to war. When he returned they got a divorce and she was left to bring up her son alone. Bette struggled to make ends meet. She got a job at Texas Bank and Trust on $300 per month. She wasn’t a great typist but she ended up becoming an executive secretary. Yet Bette struggled with mistakes she made on the new IBM electric typewriters. Instead of retyping the entire document she decided to correct mistakes. But first she had to get rid of the mistake. She looked up a recipe for tempera, an old water based paint. And made some at home. She put it in an old nail varnish bottle and took it to work. It worked. And other secretaries in the bank saw her use it and started buying it from her. She called it Mistake Out and started marketing it in her free time from her home. Then one day the bank found out and fired her. She changed the name to Liquid Paper, built a factory, supply chain and the rest is history. In 1979 she sold Liquid Paper to Gillette for $47.5 million plus royalties over the next 20 years. Just 6 months later at the age of 56 she had a stroke and died. She left most of her fortune to her son, Michael who became famous as one of The Monkees and invested his royalties into a video music company PopClips, a predecessor to MTV.

@gtconway3d This rant is disrespectful to all people who come from another country to make a better life.3 of4 grandparents came from Italy with nothing but a few belonging. They have passed their contribution even small are huge, their descendants are the legacy of the melting pot.
