Goats on the run! A caller in West Lakeland reported they had uninvited goats in their yard. Deputies arrived and the goats were cooperative. The owner was able to collect the goats and get them home. We get calls of all kinds here in Washco - but don't worry, we goat you!! 🐐

Saturday night, Deputies arrested three females for three separate DUI events occurring in May Township, Hugo and Mahtomedi. Test results were .14, .17 and .19 respectively. Drinking and driving - you may think you are a good driver, but you're really not when you're drunk.

Around 2AM this morning, a Deputy stopped a vehicle for having no taillights. After making contact, the driver was suspected of being under the influence. Roadside tests were completed and driver was arrested. Test result = .26. Plan a sober ride, even on a Sunday night.

(1/2)Yesterday, Deputies stopped out w/a vehicle that hit the median in Newport. An adult male on scene admitted to driving and had his 2 children in the vehicle. After observations of possible impaired driving and the driver explaining how he struck the median a PBT was taken.

Being a new Deputy is exciting and can be overwhelming at times. We spent two days this week working with 5 of our current recruits on some scenario training in a controlled environment. This combined with their street training helps prepare them for solo patrol. #trainingday

Meet Rico! A 1.5 year old black lab assigned to our Narcotics Division. Rico completed our in-house K9 school and is USPCA certified in narcotics detection. While we would like to report that he sits nice for pictures, a toy may have been involved here...Sit Rico sit, good boy.📷

Over the weekend, we had several DUI arrests. One was a crashed vehicle, another driver was uncooperative once stopped. We also had a pursuit ending in a crash with an unreported stolen vehicle driven by a missing person with no license. Make better choices. #wcsostreettweets
