There’s a married woman in my compound who does this thing; anytime her husband comes home late or they quarrel, she changes the padlock and refuses to open the door for him. Yesterday, the man stood outside for over two hours. All of us came out, begging her to open the door. She refused. Eventually, another neighbour had to accommodate him for the night. This morning, the man went out and came back with a truck. He packed all his belongings and left. That was when the woman started shouting and begging, calling all of us to come and help her plead with him not to go. Nobody answered her. Me: She’ll learn the hard way. Who locks a man out of his own house? Spoilt brat.

@itsbennylee I don't why people are evil, what is Islam? We are told and we know that is a religion of peace. Extremist took all religions to another level. Like me, am a Muslim by birth, my wife is a christian and I never stopped the religion of our forefathers because we all call one God

OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE / INCIDENT REPORT This report is made on behalf of a Nigerian woman, a lawful property owner and practitioner of traditional religion (ONÍṢẸ̀ṢẸ). She legally built a house in Ilorin, Kwara State, which is her constitutional right as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. From the beginning of her presence in this Ilorin Muslim community, some individuals openly stated that they did not want an ONÍṢẸ̀ṢẸ practitioner living among them. She was repeatedly threatened and intimidated solely because of her religious practice. Due to these threats, she reported the matter to the nearest police station in Ilorin. The police summoned the individuals involved and warned them that she has a legal right to live and build a house in any community of her choice in Nigeria. Despite this police warning, the threats escalated. She was directly told: “Since your house is what is keeping you here in our midst, if you refuse to stop your traditional religion practice, get ready to see your house set ablaze.” She initially considered this an empty threat. However, on January 1st 2026, while she was away attending the Osun Festival at her other residence, a neighbor urgently called to inform her that her house in Ilorin was on fire. The house was later confirmed to have been burnt, validating the earlier threats. This was not an accident. This was arson following explicit religious threats. This report is shared: • For public record • For her safety • For accountability • To notify authorities, media, and human-rights organizations Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians. No woman should be threatened, attacked, or displaced because of her religion or belief. Justice will be pursued. #Ilorin #KwaraState #JusticeForOnisese #ReligiousFreedom #StopReligiousIntolerance #HumanRights #Nigeria

I have read every major scholastic books about the Ottoman empire, Andalus empire, Sokoto caliphate, Borno empire, Toucouleur empire, Byzantine empire, Russian empire, Tributary empire system of China, Imperial Japan and the Mongolian empire. I have also being fortunate to travel across continents and nations. If after everything, one idio:t from an economically and socially backward region will be the one to lecture me about who is a good Muslim or how to propagate my Yoruba identity, then something is wrong. I am fortunate to be the president of Think Yoruba first organisation and by the grace of Almighty Allah, I wrote many of the neo-Yoruba conservative manifesto and I understand the struggle at hand. Think Yoruba First ✊🏾 and Make Yorubaland Great Again (MYGA).

Following my earlier message regarding the alleged collapse of the National Grid, which was based on reports from reputable media platforms, I have since learned that there was no such collapse. Instead, the incident involved the tripping of the Osogbo-Ihovbor and Benin-Omotosho lines, which affected the Lagos axis. I appreciate the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for their prompt clarification on the matter. I sincerely hope we will prioritize enhancing our infrastructure in the power sector and remain committed to improving power generation to meet the growing needs of over 200 million Nigerians. A New Nigeria remains possible. -PO
Peter Obi@PeterObi

National grid collapse is now a recurring decimal. I have just read the reports of the collapse of our national grid, just 11 days into the new year. Most of last year, we faced recurrent national grid collapses. That occurred about 12 times in the year. The untold setback and hardship it brought on households and businesses was immeasurable. Further reports showed that Nigeria has borrowed over $3.23 billion in the last four years to fix its electricity problems, and yet the country cannot produce more than about 4,500 megawatts of power for the people. Instead of making significant progress, our recurrent occurrences of grid collapse have continued to characterize our power sector. One then wonders where all the funds borrowed for the power sector have gone into. The lack of sincere commitment by us, the leaders, to the true development of the nation, followed by the widespread corruption eating through every sector of our national existence, has continued to drive retrogression and backwardness in our nation. This is a new year, and again, I will appeal to the government to make it a fresh start by building on the lessons of yesteryear to now improve every aspect of the nation, including the power sector, without which households and small businesses will continue to struggle under immeasurable economic burdens. A New Nigeria Remains POssible. -PO

The seat of Alaafin of Oyo is a seat of POWER! It is the seat of SANGO, the seat of Oranmiyan, the seat of the unseen realms. If you want to become the Alaafin, your personal Religion like Islam or Christianity becomes your family affair only and you become something else entirely except the traditional rites were not done. I know a lot but I cannot say a lot of things publicly. I am an Oyo man from Ibadan with an undiluted Oyo nobility for over 400 years maternally and paternally. I know my history both written and unwritten about the foundation of Oyo, the spiritual foundations and the political foundations. If Oyo throne is captured, that is the end of Yorùbá civilization. It is scary that powerful forces that are not Yorùbá both within and outside Nigeria were spending billions to lobby for who will become the Alaafin of Oyo. It was scary. What exactly is the sin of Oyo that some forces and people wanted to exterminate it from the surface of the earth????? Why can't you allow Oyo to be???? I am saying this authoritatively that Ifa played a major role in the emergence of the new Alaafin of Oyo but certain powerful people wanted someone they could control and use so that the entire Yorùbá realm from Ghana, Togo, Benin republic and Nigeria will be under their control. There will be interesting days ahead and we must never allow religious extremists to hide under religion to destroy Yorùbáland.

@AKakanfo The position of Alafin is open to all prince in Oyo irrespective of either Muslims Christians or traditionist. The era of IFA is gone with the modern technology. No one can deceive us anymore. If redeem pastor can rule in Ogbomosho and Muslim Alfa can rule in Iwo successfully.
