@finlaybrannon @1701aStarship @Saintesky We follow RSSB guidelines for working in adverse weather - this varies depending on the weather type and severity. Route knowledge would play a key part for a driver, so experience does matter.

@1701aStarship @ShotByLopes @Saintesky You can see it or you can't - if you can't an accident investigation wouldn't blame you. I presume trains simply stop in thick fog on less modern lines. Whether you've had a week's or a year's training doesn't make much difference as to whether you can see something in fog.
