@OnlyRightTrack @marstonvalecrp Can always try their hands at the Ex LNWR 230s again. I'm sure GWR will be happy to sell them off. They never even wanted them, but it was either take 230001/003-005 + all unconverted D78s, and the remaining Vivarail staff, or nothing.

Yesterday was certainly an interesting day. Most trains that I tried to get on were delayed or cancelled but I did manage to explore the fabulous @marstonvalecrp line and have a glimpse at what East West Rail will mean for the region! Really wish they got rid of the 150s though

Tomorrow, with the opening of the Camp Hill stations, there will no doubt be a plethora of "I'm on the first train" vlogs, all similar in nature and not very entertaining. However, @PeterPlisner produces great content on his YT channel, which is head and shoulders above the rest.

We've relaxed the no opening the box until we get home rule for a quick peak at his new purchase. He just keeps repeating 'cor look at that!' to himself 😊 he's been after one of these for around half his life & judging by the look on his face, I'd say it was worth every second!
