@2310ayesha Obviously that is the most important thing. My whole point was that men should work hard, earn more and attain economic freedom early when getting married instead of just complaining that women are expensive to be with.

@Sheromalik But in Pakistan women have a lot of responsibilities. They work outside, manage the home and take care of the kids. If they leave their jobs to reduce the burden, they may not be able to manage their expenses. That’s why it’s important to marry within same financial class

Religiously and morally it is the duty of husband to be the provider of his wife and kids in any scenario.

Don’t make the transition too difficult for her bcz that is the bone of contention these days. Ideally she shouldn’t feel alien after moving to new house, but if there are considerable differences try to bridge that gap ASAP. Your efforts should be visible in that case.

@2310ayesha Majority young men through independent halal means of income cannot provide what a man in his late 50s or 60s is providing to his family. At least the one starting his career should be doing efforts to reduce that gap from day one.
One should be realistic in this case.
