Now some details about the head coach search are coming out. According to Albert Breer, the Browns asked each candidate to write six answers about the role of being a head coach. What’s interesting is the written test mentioned the Browns most recent starting quarterback. "One of the six questions on the test, I’m told, was 'How would you develop Shedeur Sanders?'" Breer said the candidates didn’t take it as a sign the team expected Sanders to start, and the interviews involved discussions around all three Browns QBs (Sanders, Gabriel and Watson). However, Sanders was the name specially asked on the 6-part test. "Candidates did get the idea that being able to get starter-level play out of Sanders was seen as a plus." Is Shedeur already penciled in as the starter going into 2026?
