आज माझ्या एका मित्राला एका गव्हर्नमेंट प्रोजेक्ट साठी HR चा कॉल आला. लोकेशन कलकत्ता. पण मग HR ने स्पष्ट सांगितलं 'Bengali language mandatory.' त्यावर तो म्हणाला, 'मुंबईत या जॉब प्रोफाइल साठी कधी मराठी आवश्यक नसतं. उलट सध्या अनेक परराज्यातील लोक हे जॉब करत आहेत.' त्यावर HR म्हणाली की ती स्वतः २/३ वर्ष मुंबईत होती आणि 'मुंबईत मराठीचं कुठलंच बंधन नाही, पण कलकत्त्यामध्ये बंगाली आवश्यक आहे.' आता विचार करा, अशा किती मराठी मुलांना फक्त आपल्या राज्यात हिंदी सर्रास चालते म्हणून नोकरी धंद्याच्या संधी गमवाव्या लागतात?

लोकसभेनं परवा एक निर्णय घेतला. तो तसा आंध्र प्रदेशशी संबंधित असला तरी मराठी माणसानं त्याकडे सावधपणे बघितलं पाहिजे. "आंध्र प्रदेशची राजधानी अमरावतीच राहील आणि त्यात कधीही, कुठलाही बदल होणार नाही" अशा आशयाचं विधेयक लोकसभेत मंजूर झालं. वास्तविक राज्यांच्या सीमा बदलणे, क्षेत्र कमी-जास्त करणे, नाव बदलणे किंवा नव्या राज्यांची निर्मिती करणे इतकेच अधिकार लोकसभेला आहेत. (भारतीय राज्यघटना अनुच्छेद ३) परंतु राज्यांची राजधानी कुठली असावी ह्याचा अधिकार त्यांना दिलेला नाही. तो अधिकार राज्यांवर सोडला आहे.. तरीही हा निर्णय घेतला गेला. आपल्याला काय करायचंय, तो आंध्रच्या लोकांचा प्रश्न आहे असं मराठी माणसानं म्हणू नये. त्याच्या राजकारणातही आत्ता जाण्याचं कारण नाही. फक्त, असा प्रघात पडणं चूक आहे. कारण, तसं झालं तर एका लोकसभेच्या सत्रात मुंबईची "राष्ट्रीय आर्थिक क्षेत्र" म्हणून घोषणा होईल, दिल्लीच्या "राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र" सारखी. मुंबईचं कौतुक होईल आणि सांगितलं जाईल, मुंबई हे एक आंतरराष्ट्रीय शहर आहे म्हणून ते केंद्रशासीत करतो आहोत.. मग हे ही सांगितलं जाईल की हा खरं तर महाराष्ट्राचाच गौरव आहे ! आणि, मग आपल्या हातातून आत्ता मुंबई जेव्हढी आहे ती ही निसटून जाईल. त्यामुळे, मराठी माणसा, मराठी माणसा, सावध ऐक, पुढच्या हाका !! #मुंबई #महाराष्ट्र #federalism

सस्नेह जय महाराष्ट्र, आज १९ मार्च २०२६ रोजी महाराष्ट्र नेक्स्ट हा एक महत्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्प सादर करताना मला अतिशय आनंद होत आहे. १९ मार्च या तारखेचं अजून एक वैशिट्य म्हणजे, महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेच्या स्थापनेनंतरची पहिली सभा याच तारखेला झाली होती. त्या सभेत मी महाराष्ट्राचा विकास आराखडा घेऊन येईन असं आश्वासन दिलं होतं. पुढे २०१४ ला अत्यंत विस्तृत आणि प्रगल्भ असा महाराष्ट्राचा विकास आराखडा आम्ही सादर केला. जे पत्रकार २००८ ते २०१४ या काळात, ‘ काय कधी येणार तुमचा विकास आरखडा' हा प्रश्न अत्यंत कुत्सित पद्धतीने विचारत होते त्या पत्रकारांनी ना तो कधी वाचला, ना सत्ताधाऱ्यांनी त्यातून फारसा बोध घेतला. असो. तो विकास आराखडा सादर करताना, 'विकासाला सौंदर्यदृष्टीची जोड' का असायला हवी या बद्दलचं माझं विवेचन मी एका चित्रफितीतून मांडलं होतं. त्यावेळच्या परिस्थितीवरचं ते माझं भाष्य होतं. पण २०१४ ते २०२५ या ११ वर्षांच्या काळात महाराष्ट्र अजूनच बकाल झाला. विकास म्हणजे रस्ते आणि उड्डाणपूल इतकीच व्याख्या झाली आणि इतक्या हजार कोटींचा रस्ता, तितक्या हजार कोटींचा रस्ता, त्याची उदघाट्न यातच सगळेच सत्ताधारी धन्यता मानायला लागले. आणि याच्या जोडीला अजून एक पेव फुटलं आहे ते म्हणजे विविध योजनांतून नागरिकांना काही ना काही मोफत द्यायचं. नागरिकांना कधीच काही मोफत नको असतं, त्यांना चांगलं आयुष्य हवं असतं. पण हे भानच सुटलं आहे. यात २०२६-२७ चा राज्याचा अर्थसंकल्पात सरकारनेच कबुली दिली आहे की राज्यावर कर्जाचा बोजा हा ११ लाख कोटींचा आहे. हे सगळं का घडलं कारण नियोजनशून्यता. विकास ही विचारशील प्रक्रिया याचं भान सुटल्याने हे सगळं घडलं. या सगळ्यावर विचार करताना, आम्ही असं ठरवलं की पुन्हा एकदा महाराष्ट्राचा एक नवा विकास आराखडा आणूया. पण यावेळेस फक्त तज्ज्ञांचे मत न घेता त्यात जनसहभाग असावा. म्हणून हे संकेतस्थळ विकसित केलं आहे. अनेक मुख्य शीर्षक आणि उप-शीर्षकं याच्यात महाराष्ट्राच्या विकासाचा विचार किती सर्वांगीण व्हावा याची मांडणी केली आहे. लोकांच्या मनातील उत्तम कल्पना आणि अर्थात तज्ज्ञांची मतं याचा मेळ घालत आम्ही पुन्हा एक बृहद विकास आराखडा घेऊन येणार आहोत. आणि तो सरकारला राबवण्यासाठी भाग पाडणार आहोत. एकूणच सरकारांची श्रवणशक्ती कमी झाली असल्यामुळे तुमचा आवाज त्यांच्या कानांवर पडत असेल असं वाटत नाही. तुमच्या आवाजाचे, तुमच्या अपेक्षांचे, तुमच्या मतांचे आम्ही वाहक होऊ. तुम्ही इथे तुम्हाला ज्या विषयांत तुमच्या कल्पना द्यायच्या आहेत त्या निवडा, त्यावर लिहा. तुमची कल्पना योग्य असेल तर तुमच्या नावासकट ती व्यवस्थेला कळवली जाईल. महाराष्ट्र नेस्टच्या वेबसाईटची लिंक खाली जोडत आहे. महाराष्ट्राच्या विकासाच्या तुमच्या कल्पना जरूर कळवा. Both videos are from Baba Baidyanath Dhaam, Deoghar. The first shows how common devotees are treated, and the second shows how VIPs are treated. This is same in most of the famous temples. This difference must end. You can’t expect unity and brotherhood in a religion if the rich and powerful receive pampered treatment at temples while ordinary devotees are treated like an inconvenience. I understand that the sheer number of devotees makes it difficult to give everyone ample time, but things can still be managed with dignity, through better crowd management, token or time-slot systems, clearly marked queues, and strict enforcement of the same rules for everyone. Whatever is decided for the common people, the same rules should apply to the rich and powerful as well.

If you live in Maharashtra, please learn Marathi. I am just here for few months and I can understand most of it. Don’t know how ignorant you can be to not learn this language. These are most helpful & hardworking people of country. Don’t take unfair advantage of their kindness.

काही वर्षांपूर्वी आमच्या गावच्या मंदिराच्या भोंग्यावर पहाटे 4:30–5 ला “घनशाम सुंदरा श्रीधरा”, “तुझे रूप चित्ती आले”, “अंजनीच्या सुता” अशी शांत मराठी भूपाळी ऐकू यायची. आता त्याच जागी दिवसभर “हनुमान चालीसा”, “ये महावीर करो कल्याण”, “महादेव शंभू दिगंबर निराले” 1/2

Marathi still uses traditional words for sub directions. Ishaanya, Nairutya, Aagneya, Vaayavya. Hindi sadly has given up. Eg. North East in India in Marathi is called Ishaanya Bhaarat. In Hindi, they have changed it to Poorvottar Bhaarat. Poorvottar is a made up word.

महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठ, राहुरी येथे ३९ वा पदवीप्रदान समारंभ उत्साहात पार पडला.! माननीय राज्यपाल मा.जिष्णु देव वर्मा साहेब व माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री.देवेंद्र फडणवीस साहेब यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठाचा ३९ वा पदवीप्रदान कार्यक्रम पार पडला. यावेळी महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठातर्फे मा.मुख्यमंत्री श्री.देवेंद्र फडणवीस साहेबांना ‘डॉक्टर ऑफ सायन्स’ (Doctor of Science) ही मानद पदवी प्रदान करून सन्मानित करण्यात आलं. या प्रसंगी पदवी प्राप्त करणाऱ्या सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांचं मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन केलं. आजचा दिवस हा विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आयुष्यातील अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा टप्पा असून कृषी क्षेत्रात संशोधन, आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञान आणि नवकल्पनांच्या माध्यमातून मोठं योगदान देण्याची संधी त्यांच्या समोर आहे. महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठाने गेल्या अनेक दशकांपासून महाराष्ट्रातील शेतीसाठी महत्त्वपूर्ण संशोधन केलं आहे. नवीन बियाणे वाण, पिक व्यवस्थापन, कीड-रोग नियंत्रण आणि जलसंधारण तंत्रज्ञानाच्या माध्यमातून या विद्यापीठानं राज्याच्या कृषी विकासात मोठा वाटा उचलला आहे. विद्यापीठानं विकसित केलेल्या पिकांच्या वाणांमुळे राज्याच्या अर्थव्यवस्थेला मोठा हातभार लागला आहे, ही निश्चितच अभिमानाची बाब आहे. राज्य सरकार शेती अधिक आधुनिक, तंत्रज्ञानावर आधारित आणि शाश्वत करण्यासाठी कटिबद्ध आहे. AI आधारित कृषी धोरण, ड्रोन तंत्रज्ञान, प्रिसिजन फार्मिंग, नैसर्गिक शेती आणि कृषी स्टार्टअप्स यांना प्रोत्साहन देत भविष्यातील शेती अधिक सक्षम करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत. कृषी पदवीधर विद्यार्थ्यांनी केवळ नोकरीच्या संधींकडं न पाहता कृषी उद्योजकता, संशोधन आणि नवकल्पनांच्या माध्यमातून शेतकऱ्यांचं जीवनमान उंचावण्यासाठी पुढं यावं, असं आवाहन यावेळी केलं. पदवी प्राप्त केलेल्या सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांना उज्ज्वल भविष्यासाठी हार्दिक शुभेच्छा!
