@RGT_85 @SEGA Seriously, why the hell not!? every person that starts with 3 on Switch 2, then realizes they need to play the first two games to know what's going on: = a missed sale for Sega, as these people will emulate them instead, since the 1 & 2 bundle isn't available on their console

Someone said that our Sega Dreamcast ports were a pointless waste of time today and that nobody will play them… Meet my son, who was the first kid to ever play Mario 64, Doom 64, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, Sonic Mania, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City, and now The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time—some of my all-time favorite games from childhood—on my favorite console, the Sega Dreamcast, for his first play-throughs… and his little sister plays with us as well. Despite the fact that we actually do have a thriving homebrew scene of people playing and supporting us, I could not give less of a shit if anyone else plays them or appreciates the work… This is all the validation I need.

This is wild. 143 million people thought they were catching Pokémon. They were actually building one of the largest real-world visual datasets in AI history. Niantic just disclosed that photos and AR scans collected through Pokémon Go have produced a dataset of over 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation AI for delivery robots. Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, storefronts, parks, and sidewalks from every angle, at every time of day, in lighting and weather conditions that staged photography would never capture. They documented the physical world at a scale no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could have replicated on the same timeline or budget. Niantic collected this systematically, data point by data point, across eight years, while users thought the only thing at stake was catching a rare Charizard. The most valuable AI training datasets in the world aren't being assembled in data centers. They're being built by people who have no idea they're building them.

It's been 30 years since #SEGA Touring car championship graced the Arcades & it stands as a lesser known SEGA Racer from the 90's, getting a port for the Saturn a year later We both know we enjoyed the experience, so should it be overlooked? What do you think?

@ShenmueVillage @lofi_lover0930 💯 The indie games are where it's at for me in terms of modern gaming. Just like you said: they know what gamer's want Just like this game; can't wait!

Any game that's inspired by Shenmue will automatically demand my attention almost instantly! We need more games like this that gamers actually want to see, and games that the industry would probably just take one look at and ignore but these indie studios know what gamers really want at the end of the day.
