Actually unlike Sonic Superstars, Kirby Triple Deluxe has banging bosses, and is a very very great game in general, go play it!
I love how tense the series' Meta Knight duels, are with him blocking your attacks when he himself is not attacking, and reacting to your every move

@CoolBlued_ @Kafonn_ Eh, the tweaks are so mild that I wouldn't say you lose much in Ultra. Since it's unlocked from the start in OG though, I guess you might as well.

@Kafonn_ @ShiftMaster53 I'd say you should play both versions cause Revenge of Meta Knight is superior on the og version. Ultra removes a lot of the aura from that story

Perfect excuse to show these again. Kirby and Sonic both really tap into the "this is dumb but really fucking cool" vibe. I think alot of Sonic fans would enjoy Kirby if they didn't worry about comparison so much. Kirby may start slower but always ends with a massive bang.

Being serious for a second. Kirby has always been a bag of chips to me. Most of his games are 5-6/10 most of the time. And Kirby has never once made me feel like Sonic makes me feel. I'm sorry but for me? A single Sonic cutscene mogs most of the Kirby games.

Hell every Sonic final boss is just a fucking flying minigame, Kirby usually blends gimmicks with the core combat mechanics for a far more satisfying finale

@zowR2Jm2b1yqa9d The second phase is still engaging through strong spectacle and difficult precision. Plus Kirby combat is different from Sonic in that you try to deal as much damage in small time windows as possible, so the waiting is still fine.

Reminder of when ZachTheInsomniac blocked me over calling out insulting behavior against an audience's existence, QRTed a post of mine while I couldn't reply to spread negativity, and only apologized when my callout gained traction.
This was 3 months ago.
