The tiny little pocket inside the big pocket in your shorts is just murder when you're carrying a ball marker. Always finds its way in there. Impossible to get out without pulling out the whole pocket. Something needs to be done.

@therealsdillon @Bamfordgolf That the strength of the field is weakened in comparison with previous years. Two of the four current major champions, last year's runner up and the previous years winner are not playing. It's pretty obvious. PGA Tour still the premier tour but strength of the field is diluted.

@Shiraq10 @Bamfordgolf What point are you trying to make? The bottom line is The Players is as strong as it always was. Golf, like life moves on. DJ, Phil, Reed, Louis, Tiger Harrington etc, have all been replaced in the sport by younger, better players. That is sport.

@Shiraq10 @Bamfordgolf Hatton is a clown. So what if he finished second last year. Golf is a sport with a huge random element, where average golfers can finish high up the field and even win tournaments. Danny Willett won the Masters in 2016! Those players don't add anything to the field.

@therealsdillon @Bamfordgolf The Players is the flagship event for the PGA Tour, where all the highest ranked get to tee it up. A field of 144 players this week and the reality is that the field is weakened in conparrison to previous years as there are numerous players not playing who clearly are top 144.

@therealsdillon @Bamfordgolf Hatton finished second last year behind Scheffler, who was playing like prime Tiger tee to green. Cam Smith won it in previous year with, DJ top 10, Hatton 13th, Reed 26th, Oosthuizen 42nd. When you consider the size of the field, I think it fair to say they add quality.

Cam Smith, Jaoquin Niemann, Louis Oosthuizen, Patrick Reed, Bryson, DJ, Hatton to name some. The split tours doesn't do any good for golf. Both fields too diluted.

@Bamfordgolf It is a top class field. Rahm & maybe Koepka would be a positive addition. I don’t know any other golfer who would improve the strength of the field. Winning a single major doesn’t make you a great golfer. Winning majors 3 years ago is even less relevant.
