A bit of a mess about with the drone and paint.net tonight has led to the creation of this poster, which definitely needs to be made a bit busier, but for a first attempt at something like this, what's everyone's thoughts?
slightly random day out in Aylesbury, today saw the transfer of X154 FBB, a fantastic B7TL from Redline to Red Rose as a replacement for accident damaged E400 LK08 NVL, HJ02 HFF working 50’s, Redline’s smart Volvo B9TL (MCV DD103) BF62 UYN and CX58 EXL / 2919 (cause it’s epic)
@Ethan62462226@edwardbdart well, who knows the future for it.. the darts have been fazed out at red group, redline don’t operate any. AE07’s have been sat a long time now and Pointer Dart HW54BTV as been scrapped. the only darts that remind are Y358/359LCK, SN53LWR and BU05HFZ
A lesser-spotted type of Dart is the Egyptian MCV bodied example, of which 4 operate/d with Red Group of Aylesbury.
Only 1 of the 4 - AE56 LWK - is still roadgoing, albeit parked up in the compound of death currently with AE07 DZB & C, AE56 LWL having suffered a fire long ago.
THROWBACK | Vale Travel Dennis Dart (East Lancs) M454LLJ working school contract 2707 from Lord Williams School’s to Kingston Blount, Seen on the 30th of September 2022, This was the last service it ran since it was put up for sale. It remains in the Vale Travel yard to this day
A lot of Former Go-Ahead London today.. Redline Volvo B7TL (Alexander ALX400’s) V112/V119LGC (AVL12/19) and Preserved Dennis Dart (Plaxton Pointer) Y803TGH (LDP130)
Red Rose Dennis Dart (Plaxton Pointer 2) HW54 BTV in Aylesbury bus station last night. Which i can only assume broke down because it didn’t do anymore runs prior to this photo and wasn’t out today.. this runs daily!
Throwback Thursday | Haven’t posted in a little while so thought id do a throwback.. this week is Stagecoach Northampton’s old Dennis Trident (Alexander ALX400’s) KN54 ZXP, KX04 REU and PX04 DPE all seen in Northampton - Such nice motors shame they were all withdrawn!
Had a great day out with @edwardbdart & @Samuel_Packman in Bury St Edmunds, Loads of interesting buses there, highlight of the day was Simonds Coaches DAF DB250 (East Lancs Lowlander) YJ56 KCK. What a bus that was!
