Hi there, thanks for the fast reply. So can we buy a new suitcase and get it reimbursed? We are leaving on Friday and need a suitcase as the one we have is permanently damaged and unusable.

Yesterday, the Austrian government announced: starting Monday, you can only dine out if vaccinated or had a prior COVID infection. The vax rate has stagnated at 60% for months. Today. Austrians don't get vaxed for vulnerables/kids but Schnitzel. This is Austria.

The lowest point of it all was when I arranged a meeting with a senior (white male) scientist to explain that I felt I’d lost the opportunity to continue my career because of childcare. His response was that science is hard for everyone, and good people are always lost.

The mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) are kind of brilliant at a science level. I’ve had a few people in my real non-Twitter life ask me to explain how it works so I’m going to try my best here in this thread while I’m waiting for a patient to show.
