You can always email support@sofer.ai and we'll make sure to review and look into what went wrong. And then on our end something we do want to add is a feature for being able to show where the model was least confident or possibly left stuff out because it didn't know what was said, and highlighting that to the user so they could investigate and double check. It's something that we would love to add. Hopefully we can have it sooner rather than later.

Had this vision for a very long time, so happy to finally be able to make it a reality! 🎉 Our new Maishiv search experience reflects how we try to create our AI experiences thoughtfully. Both wanting to take advantage of the power of AI, but with the extra care and responsibility that working with Torah demands.

@ZachEFish Is there a way to get report on parts of the transcribe that sofer.ai struggled so u can review those areas? Places where seconds went by with no transcript?

@ZachEFish Amazing! Sofer can transcribe an audio and on the side it breaks it down into sections. Can you download a word file with the transcript broken into sections? How about adding a translate tool into the transcribe section?

@bentziavtzon The key is to share ideas in one liners as you weave thru Maggid. (Or pointed questions that create discussion). Making the actual haggadah become personal, meaningful, current and alive.

New Short Film: “The Joshniks” Very frequently, the team at Chabad.org receives a startlingly similar message. It usually reads something like this: “I’ve been learning with Rabbi Gordon every morning for months. I feel like I know him. I just looked him up, and I’m in shock—I had no idea he passed away years ago.” This week marks the 10th yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yehoshua B. (“Josh”) Gordon. Yet, the confusion is understandable. For hundreds of thousands of students worldwide who log on to Chabad.org and a cluster of Chabad.org apps to study Chumash, Tanya, and Rambam, he is still very much alive. A new documentary released this week by Chabad.org, The Joshniks, explores the unique story of the continued impact and legacy of Rabbi Gordon. While Rabbi Gordon's classroom is global, the film focuses intimately on a community of learners in Port Washington, New York. It captures the story of people who never met him, yet live and learn with him every day, proving that his teaching—witty, clear, and personal—is as eternal as the Torah he teaches. Today, we invite you to join and begin studying with Rabbi Gordon daily at Chabad.org/RabbiGordon. This presentation was made possible by Russell and Ivy Herman.

@querynotfound @bentziavtzon Rav Abadi is from Lakewood community. In general I’m not sure how careful people are in any community w these dinim. Would be very interested if someone has done a formal or even informal study.

let me try this differently according to modern idea of Niddah being time to connect emotionally how do we explain no physical touch for two weeks immediately after wedding night and/or no physical touch for weeks after childbirth (or, g-d forbid, miscarriage) asking sincerely

@bentziavtzon Final comment: You’re not providing any numbers or percentage. If it’s a widespread issue share the numbers. How many kids have been sent away in the history of shlichus? And how many receipts have you gotten? How many do you think you would get if u did more research?

No, but I think it’s disingenuous to talk about how smooth it was for you without mentioning this very relevant fact. Also, your extreme whitewashing makes my case easier. My contention has been that the problem is far bigger than admitted, and it’s certainly bigger than you’re conceding. I have plenty of receipts of kids who were profoundly scarred and would have far more if I invested in this. You may want to reconsider your bet here.

"Nu, so what do you suggest?" For starters: We acknowledge the past costs, even if means that we have to be honest with young couples. We are honest with young couples, even if it means they might not go. We are honest with ourselves, even if it means some will ask questions. We ask questions, even if it means that some might come back. We respect those who come back, even if it makes us wonder why they went in the first place. We wonder why they went in the first place, even if it means that we don't have all the answers.

@bentziavtzon @vermontjews Share your experience. Happy to empathize. I respect your feelings. But here you are making this into a widespread issue. That isn’t being talked about. I take issue with that.

@vermontjews @bentziavtzon I came to crown height at a young age. It would be dishonest for me to say that many of the kids who lived with their parents (or parent) were all OK

@ShlomoPV @bentziavtzon I grew up in Crown Heights, so I have no personal experience with this, But I did see Shluchim’s kids coming to school in Crown Heights at a very early age, And would be dishonest for me to say that they were all OK

@bentziavtzon Mothers cry when sending kids to camp was meant to clarify- We do hard things for our kids. Just because we cry when we do them doesn’t mean it’s traumatic and must be declared and signed off before accepting. Just because it was hard and crying was involved doesn’t make it bad.

Comparing sending your kid to camp - which I did happily this past summer - to sending your kid for most of the year to stay in a strangers home (where did you stay ?) is precisely the flippant downplaying I describe. Nobody calls sending their kid to camp sending them from home. Which is why nobody besides Shluchim sends their kids from home at same age that they send them to camp. Also, pls remind me if im wrong, didn’t you stay in CH with all of your brothers?

@vermontjews @bentziavtzon I didn’t down play someone experience. Many ppl have hard childhoods. But it seems like Bentzi is making this an issue that is widespread and is being swept under the rug. And it simply isn’t.

@bentziavtzon Im really not understanding what isn’t talked about that need to be talked about. Mothers cry when sending their kids to camp for two months. We saw our parents every two months. And spoke on the phone daily. It wasn’t easy. But this isn’t some secret that everyone is hiding.
