@BarclayCard18 And he responds by winning next 4 slams in a row capped by finally capturing the elusive RG title. GOAT of GOATs
English

@seattle_hq @ItzzZain10 His form has really slipped in the last couple years, especially relative to the other top guys. His level this week surely gave him hope for a better outlook, which is probably the biggest reason for the celebration
English

@DefiantLs Am I the only one who thought the funniest part was the 1 guy who left his bedsheets on?
English

@DjokovicFan_ If it wasn't obvious already this stat should firmly squash any Fed fans' deluded view that Fed was anywhere close to Novak on clay. They cherry pick the one 2011 french open match and ignore everything else
English

@Abdel_Peace1 As ridiculous as Fed at #1 over Novak is, the entire list is really flawed. Alcaraz over Sampras at this point is ridiculous and Roddick over Stan, Hewitt (not to mention unranked guys like Safin, Guga and even Sinner) is indefensible
English

@klayphe Unfortunately they're not the same guys anymore, and wouldn't have prime Klay, Draymond supporting them
English

@Yolitatennis And these booers were obviously rooting against him, so they got the result they wanted but didn’t like the fact that Novak didn’t further damage himself to entertain them (when these were the very people he owed nothing to)?? Idiots
English

@CristinaNcl I hope this means he’s feeling well enough to play?
English

@cadias92 @josemorgado He's going to be running on fumes at that point the way he's dragging matches out

#AusOpen Men’s Singles R3, bottom half:
[7] Djokovic vs. [26] Machac
[24] Lehecka vs. Bonzi
[15] Draper vs. Vekic
[3] Alcaraz vs. Borges
Mensik vs. Davidovich Fokina
[12] Paul vs. Carballes
[14] Humbert vs. [20] Fils
[2] Zverev vs. Fearnley

@josemorgado I'm sure I'll come off as a whiny Djokovic fan, but regardless. And I take nothing away from the very worthy nominees, although will note there have been some famous examples of racket smashing amongst them as well
English

@josemorgado I remain mystified that Fed/Nadal kept winning the Edberg award but Novak is never nominated. He is 2nd to none in applauding his opponents good shots, is super gracious in defeat ... seems abritrary to exclude him for stress-release racket smashing and reacting to impolite fans
English

@TrungTPhan Interesting but would note that the distribution of ketchup is important, so you won’t get the same experience eating a whole fry with a lump of ketchup as dipping and biting

@BillSimmons @arielhelwani @jacko2323 @ChrisRyan77 @BigWos @RobMahoney @SheilKapadia @AnthonyDabbundo Long, long overdue return to the pod for the legend @jacko2323. Never disappoints

@TheTennisLetter Gilbert seems to have an immediate initial positive impact and then seemingly his message/impact loses steam. Roddick had similar initial spike, even Agassi won 2 slams within a year of hiring him and then went 3+ years before his next slam
English

Coco Gauff and Brad Gilbert have ended their coaching partnership.
They won 4 titles together since the start of July 2023 and Coco reached a career high of world #2.
🔹 Washington Champion 2023
🔹 Cincinnati Champion 2023
🔹 US Open Champion 2023
🔹Auckland Champion 2024
🔹Australian Open SF 2024
🔹Roland Garros SF 2024
Wishing them both continued success as they go their separate ways.
