@Duelist17_ I’m victim of this clip. And to be honest, it still requires skill to achieve this combo. Lars can easily achieve this combo damage so.. I still enjoy wasting heat when I play against you ngl 😂

@FoSheehy @Lockeabout @ArslanAsh95 That’s what I’m saying. This is assuming that the opponent didn’t duck the db1,3 and gets you launched. db1,3 and 1,4 are +3 on hit and his fastest options from LEN are i16. So the best thing Lars can do is a ws4. But as you can see dude, we have people crying about fake pressure

@Lockeabout @ShockstepFoola @ArslanAsh95 You can dickjab any LEN transition even *on-hit* unless it's the 2,1 transition. LEN is useless against anyone who knows this. It's at best an oki stance after a combo finisher 🤷🏼

Lars getting nerfed again is crazy. The character isn’t even doing anything and still catching nerfs every patch 😭 Someone at Bandai Namco must REALLY hate Lars.

@Lockeabout @ArslanAsh95 I know for a fact that I almost got to GoD II last season. I’m surely not a pro but I understand my character more than you understanding the whole game. So go lab the character to see what gets interrupted instead of running your jaw.

@Lockeabout @ArslanAsh95 SaFe LaUnChiNg MiD!! You’re talking about a 25f orbital which gets floated easily. And when you compare this to the rest of the roster, it’s nothing at all. So either get good at the game or stop making mindless statements..

@Lockeabout @ArslanAsh95 Goddamn it..woman is speaking about a 16f mid from a stance which is mainly fake pressure. The only viable way for Lars to get to LEN without interrupting it is with his 10f punish (2,1). Otherwise you can interrupt those two options with down jabs (from db1,3, & from 1,4)

@VictorMJ77 We had characters like Anna, Bryan, King, Alisa, Clive, Asuka, Jun, Law, Nina, Heihachi, Lidia. And ppl still think Lars is the problem. I agree that he should get some nerfs on his forced 50/50 situations. But please stop crying about Lars if you don’t know the counterplay!!

@MSUFIAN721 That’s right he goes through mids. And he ain’t the only character. Look at Xiaoyu’s AOP.. I still hope that the move gets fixed and all characters including Lars get nerfed to the ground. But I know that people would still complain about anything. That’s the sad truth..

ah don't be mad its not about labbing, dont act blind see he goes through mids. I am playing lars and I did same 21 but my friend sidestep and punish but sometime I get away with no punish lol and more he does mid which is correct option to do against -6, but I was playing lars as I did orbital and same thing happened everytime

Lars is Broken! Everything So Random Lars Can Crush Mids on -6 lol is that trap? and some characters with good sidestep can also get hit by moves that other can sidestep same move

Before Season 2 ends I'm dropping this video. I heard discourse about Lars stomp and I'm just always surprised at how man people refuse too lab. and before anyone says "WhAt If He DoEs SoMeTHiNg ElSe?" It's called risk reward and a mix up. The Basics

@MSUFIAN721 And by the way the counterplay for 2,1 into orbital is to float it with a 15f mid or higher. Don’t use fast mids such as a 13f df1. Example: Jin can float him with b2,1. Kazuya with his df1,2. So try to find a counterplay for it with your character.

We reached a point in the Tekken community in which people advice you to try and risk your life trying to apply some counterplay instead of punishing a low correctly in a complete mixup situation, all of it considering that this low in heat knocks down for 3 million damage

@KayDashX_ "YeAh BuT i HaVe To GuEsS aFtEr BlOcKiNg A lOw" You just use your 11f, 12f ws punish to stop everything Lars can do. Not to mention that Bryan and Armor King can CH launch Lars if he goes to SEN after the stomp. Dragunov from heat dash too. Stupid blue ranks who don’t even lab.

@Harada_TEKKEN Thank you for making my childhood memorable. I’ve been playing Tekken since I was 6. It will always be my favourite fighting game. And only for that, you have my deepest gratitude! 🫶🏻

I’d like to share that I’ll be leaving Bandai Namco at the end of 2025. With the TEKKEN series reaching its 30th anniversary—an important milestone for a project I’ve devoted much of my life to—I felt this was the most fitting moment to bring one chapter to a close. My roots lie in the days when I supported small local tournaments in Japanese arcades and in small halls and community centers overseas. I still remember carrying arcade cabinets by myself, encouraging people to “Please try TEKKEN,” and directly facing the players right in front of me. The conversations and atmosphere we shared in those places became the core of who I am as a developer and game creator. Even as the times changed, those experiences have remained at the center of my identity. And even after the tournament scene grew much larger, many of you continued to treat me like an old friend—challenging me at venues, inviting me out for drinks at bars. Those memories are also deeply precious to me. In recent years, I experienced the loss of several close friends in my personal life, and in my professional life I witnessed the retirement or passing of many senior colleagues whom I deeply respect. Those accumulated events made me reflect on the “time I have left as a creator.” During that period, I sought advice from Ken Kutaragi—whom I respect as though he were another father—and received invaluable encouragement and guidance. His words quietly supported me in making this decision. Over the past four to five years, I’ve gradually handed over all of my responsibilities, as well as the stories and worldbuilding I oversaw, to the team, bringing me to the present day. Looking back, I was fortunate to work on an extraordinary variety of projects—VR titles (such as Summer Lesson), Pokkén Tournament, the SoulCalibur series, and many others, both inside and outside the company. Each project was full of new discoveries and learning, and every one of them became an irreplaceable experience for me. To everyone who has supported me, to communities around the world, and to all the colleagues who have walked alongside me for so many years, I offer my deepest gratitude. I’ll share more about my next steps at a later date. Thank you very much for everything. 【Postscript】 Although I will be leaving the company at the end of 2025, Bandai Namco has asked me to appear at the TWT Finals at the end of January 2026, so I expect to attend as a guest. For 30 years I kept saying, “I’ll do it someday,” and never once performed as a DJ at a tournament event. So instead, I will be releasing—for the first and last time—a 60-minute TEKKEN DJ-style nonstop mix (DJ mix), personally edited by myself, together with this announcement. Listening to it brings back many memories. Thank you again, sincerely, for all these years. ‘TEKKEN: A 30-Year Journey – Harada’s Final Mix’ by Katsuhiro Harada 1 is on #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/pEYofA4yXOwyC7… December 8, 2025 - The Final Day of TEKKEN’s 30th Anniversary - Katsuhiro Harada ‘TEKKEN: A 30-Year Journey – Harada’s Final Mix’ by Katsuhiro Harada 1 is on #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/pEYofA4yXOwyC7… 様々な思い出が蘇ります。改めて皆さんありがとうございました。 2025年12月8日 - 鉄拳30周年最終日 - Katsuhiro Harada

@PipeBenderFC @nkt_dreamer I mean he got too comfy using df3 into stance so he would obviously spam it. And df3,3 is still launch punishable if you block it.

@PipeBenderFC @nkt_dreamer You could’ve launched Lars like two times in this clip. Don’t respect his df3 into stance, he’s -4 when he enters the stance and the DEN3 that he uses is around 20 or 22 frames. So you can interrupt him with a launcher.
