Considering Congress writes the tax code…that’s on you. We need a flat income tax for everyone with no deductions. Easy to take that from paychecks. 10-15% across the board. Everyone pays equally according to ehat they make. It is fair, easy and plenty. Biggest benefits are the IRS shrinks saving taxpayer money and no one ever has to file again.

You should be able to easily file your taxes for free with the IRS. Not only did Trump kill Direct File, the IRS's free tax filing program, but this week, Republicans BLOCKED my bill that would make the program law of the land. That's what you call selling out to TurboTax.

@RepJayapal I prefer to not imagine, but know we maintain most world order and peace through our strength. The government is not supposed to provide childcare or healthcare. You want to take money from people to pay for things the people could pay for themselves if you stopped taxing them.

Imagine if we invested in childcare and health care like we do in war and weapons.

Democrats refused to admit they expired the ACA tax credits. That they shut down the government and the DHS. You refuse to admit there is fraud rampant in stealing tax dollars. You refuse to admit that Biden was mentally declining and his staff was abusing the auto-pen. You refuse to admit that the majority voted for Trump and a congressional majority.

The White House refused to answer how much the war is costing us. Now Trump wants $1.5T for defense, which is almost 70 percent of the discretionary budget. Trump is funding war & tax breaks for billionaires at the expense of healthcare and childcare for Americans

The rich are getting richer while working people are struggling to feed their families. AI and robotics will make a bad situation even worse. We need a new boldness in organizing workers. With union solidarity we can have AI benefit all, not just a handful of billionaires.

A constitutional republic (otherwise known as a democracy) is an architecture of laws, institutional checks, and deliberate representation.
