i am pleasantly surprised talking with a lot of @evo__hq users who have found great success applying it to frontier/novel research problems.
the interesting thing is evo isn't even tuned for those sort of tasks right now !! my original objective was just to make autoresearch much easier for a wider audience to apply on their own systems or ML setups.
and it still seems to be impressing a lot of folks applying it in serious scientific research.
lots of alpha yet to capture.

Your wallet shouldn’t be a pain in the back.
We’ve normalized sitting on bulky wallets, even though they wreck our posture and literally cause "Fat Wallet Syndrome" (yes, wallet-induced nerve pain is real).
Introducing the Frido Wallet. Ultra-slim, surprisingly spacious, and designed to carry cards, cash, coins, keys, receipts, and an AirTag without the bulk.
Comfort-first. Front-pocket friendly. Elegant. Functional. Just the way a wallet should be. Link below 👇

Been heads down for weeks - talking to users, shipping their feedback. Pleased to announce evo v0.4 is now generally available !!
evo is an open-source autoresearch orchestrator: point it at your codebase and it becomes a self-improving loop - agents run experiments parallely, keep what beats the benchmark, drop what doesn't.
everything new in v0.4 👇 [thread]

something i've been thinking about a lot lately - not all failures are the same.
there's failing at something you already know how to do. like missing a deadline or showing up late repeatedly. that's just incompetence in a familiar environment and yeah, that's on you. It's avoidable and it breaks trust.
but then there's failing while trying something completely new. and somehow people treat these two things the same way which honestly blows my mind because they couldn't be more different.
when you're experimenting, failure isn't a red flag. it's literally just information. the world is telling you - okay, not this, try something else. that's it. there's no deeper meaning.
it says nothing about who you are or what you're capable of.
the actual problem is when you fail slowly. because then you're just sitting in something that isn't working and postponing the moment where you finally move on to something that does.
