@Fynnderella1 Seven years of topical steroid withdrawal. It was unimaginable. Top derms told me I'd have to be on them for life. I said we'll see about that! Long story short, I recovered, am happily ts free, and haven't used the poison in more than 10 years.

@Aadam_Aziz Medical staffing model is broken - it’s too lucrative for medics to work as locums, leading to them holding health boards/trusts hostage to extortionate daily wages, and in the meantime, the medics can work part time. GPs should not be able to make profits too

@konsiquenz We need better quality of GPs not just any old GP who googles stuff

Saw a tweet about a GP who could not get a job after his training, & had to move to Canada; the government needs to take this GP crisis more seriously. If people can't access primary care, then the entire NHS is at risk. There are more people accessing private GPs these days.

@DrJackKruse @DrJackKruse do you have insight/opinion into topical steroid withdrawal? It’s disastrous mitochondrial dysfunction that takes years to heal and the medical community are gaslighting retards on this subject and folks are tormented for years with this condition

A 36-year-old woman developed permanent damage to one eye after prolonged use of topical steroid creams for Eczema. She has been using these creams to manage it since she was five years old. When she stopped the medication, she experienced Topical Steroid Withdrawal, leading to severe itching, cracked skin, and intense discomfort, even making it painful to breathe. After years of recovery, her skin eventually improved.
