@SouthernRailUK No sign for cycle storage inside or out. Guard confirmed the red door area was where cycles should go, despite layout making this difficult. Why was cycle storage degraded from the 377 to the 387?

@SouthernRailUK What’s going on with the cycle storage on Class 387s? Tables are in the way, no storage straps for safety, and no signage to guide correct use. Why spoil the layout that’s worked reasonably well for decades on the 377s?

A bad day on local roads, with serious collisions and drivers overturning cars on both parts of Old Shoreham Rd: in #Southwick and in #Shoreham. Our thoughts are with anyone hurt, and our determination is to be part of whatever it takes to make our roads safer and calmer for all.

Question for cycling campaigners and experts: What is known about the effectiveness of local authorities’ adverts and promotions to encourage cycling?

The council want your thoughts on their plans to remove the southbound cycle lane on the A23 in Patcham and replace it with a bus (and taxi and motorcycle) lane. Please respond and tell them that they should improve, not remove, the cycle lane. Our thoughts:
