In all of this Asalatu brouhaha. Ẹjọ ki se ti ara ẹni kamọ mọ da. The majority of things these people hold on to are due to the failures and mistakes of many organizers and leaders of these Asalatu. The world has move and so much needs to change. Many popular practices in many Asalatus have no foundation in Islam and we should weed them out. For any activity one does, what makes it haram is the haram contents in the activities. If the goal is good, and you can identify the haram contents and fix them, it stops being Haram or problematic. There are many ex asalatu attendees who have since stopped because of your yọbọyọbọ. Fix yourself.

@sulaimon126 @BenYousef_E I used majority cause it's obvious that's how it is. There are so cases that i have seen but let's just forget about it. We should all know that we'll meet Allah one day

Prime R9 step overs. Initially, he tries to maintain a balance but eventually, he condemns one at the expense of the other because that's where he belongs. You can never hide.

So... I learnt that it is a sin to change your name to your husband's name after marriage. That means as a Muslim we are not allowed to bear our husband's name. Omo I keep on learning everyday

@sulaimon126 @BenYousef_E If you say those ones around my environment you're right, but it's still the same pattern wherever i go. At least i haven't be staying in a place since I have been born. How is it the same everywhere? Note: I won't dispute the fact that some are beneficial, especially in

@Femi_OfMainland You've spoken well Sir. But obviously most halqoh are beneficial. Only few, like 10/100 halqoh you'll see that won't be teaching the right path. But most nowadays Assalatu are full with non beneficial stuffs unlike the olden days

You attended Asalatus, good. Perhaps the easiest way to evaluate Asalatu is to limit it to the big 5. - Nasfat - Qorib - Jahmaly - Ansardeen - Anwar-islam. I reckon this 5 probably account for 40-50% of people attending asalatu. Do you find these 5 beneficial in any sense to our community or not? The conversation is not about them being perfect, they are not, there is a lot of baby wash water that should be thrown away, I'm saying don't throw the baby away along with it - this isn't a discussion on if it's a Bidia or not - it's a discussion on the practicality of Asalatu. When people like me defend Asalatu, do you assume that I am defending Asalatu Oni Pepsi or any of that nonsense? The problem is that we always want to judge a group of people using the worst of them, as against using the law of averages. I fear that the principles your salafy brothers applied few days again, is what Imam as applied today. The principle of “judge them by the worst of them”. On the issue of some Halqohs teaching dangerous ideologies, as I have said, I disagree on how common it is, I think most Halqohs are good, but I don't think it's honest to say we don't know of some Halqohs that teach dangerous ideologies. They are in every cities and every town, some of them have evolved over the years to be more lenient too.

Lol. Growing up, we attended Asalatu, bro. When a claim is made, we're to provide evidence, ba? It's easy to provide evidence for those things that are about Asalatu. Now, tell him go provide evidence for the extremism. Before that, let's be clear on semantics.

@sulaimon126 @BenYousef_E Assalatu isn't haram, but the things dey do jn most Asalatus nowadays ain't proper at all. The organizers should change their ways and stop using Asalatu as an avenue for their own personal agenda, they should stop using the word Assalatu

@Wizarab10 The question is, how many farmers do we have in Nigeria? Many youths prefer soft life and Elons money than to cultivate the earth and feed.

Allah takes, and Allah gives - In late 2024, my younger sister (Idowu) lost her child who just clocked 2, we held grief and trusted Allah anyway. Today, He answered her prayers twice over. Yesterday, she gave birth to two healthy and beautiful boys. We pray to Allah to make them the coolness of their parents' eyes. (Ameen)
