I want to write something about how music snobbery and its relationship to classism in the UK. Certain factions attach themselves to music genres when “sophistication” can be identified.
It’s probably why some music publications are struggling with their accessibility.

@bo66ie29 I think we're more aware now. 24 hour rolling news, social media with people videoing ever incident on their phones could make us think that the world is more dangerous? Years ago we'd only be aware of the really bad stuff that happened, stuff that made it to TV news.

Social media has turned everything into chasing BIG instagramable moments from DJs to Punters it’s content chasing 24/7
Easy way to get that reaction is play anthems / bootlegs over playing a obscure dub / gem
