A city government paid $50K for a one-year license of an app for police agents that uses speech synthesis and voice recognition for "inclusive communication."

Saw this at the @FlyingTigerUK store in Oxford Street. Requiring the user to install an app can add friction to your user's journey. This app by @MishiPayApp is a PWA and can be installed, but doesn't require to. Is "No app install required" the new "There's an app for that"?

The government of Colombia 🇨🇴created CoronApp to support citizens and visitors on the COD-19 outbreak. It's a native app for Android. It's not accessible or usable; no need for native

Remember: if you have a great web app, you really close to being a PWA. It’s probably a good idea to walk those extra steps! Performance, offline access and installability will provide good UX for your users.

If you take a @Ryanair flight and want to see the drinks and food menu, you can download a +100MB app from stores. No inflight WiFi is available and trying cellular connections inside the plane can be a problem. It @ShouldBePWA!

−Nobody can find it today by its name “FindYourWay” 🤨
−600K daily passengers but less than 3% downloaded the app
−50MB on iOS, 21MB on Android - bad reviews (2.5 stars)
−Too many permissions
