🚨 THE BANK OF JAPAN MAY HAVE JUST INTERVENED IN THE CURRENCY MARKET. USD/JPY hit a new 40-year high of 162.84 yesterday, then crashed to 160.90 within hours. A nearly 1.18% drop in hours is not normal market movement. Japan spent $72-73 billion in April and May doing exactly this, selling dollars and buying yen aggressively to defend the currency at extreme levels. Both times the chart showed the same pattern: a new extreme high, then a sudden violent reversal. No official confirmation yet. But the size and speed of this move points to one thing only. Even after the drop, the yen is still trading near its weakest level in 40 years.

@AlJShort @amtvmedia Not quite, I’m referring to currency tiers that are being built and tested on blockchain. The dollar will no longer be used but it will be more like “credits” that are banked in your account and you’ll only be able to use them on a pre-approved basis. Think “15min cities”.

The SEC, ETFs, SWIFT, bank adoption, CBDCs... The narrative shifts every few years. The only constant is this: There is always someone telling you that the real breakout is just around the corner. We all learnt the hard way, bots, net zero, xrp-0, how the odl works etc.. then when they were able to actually own a centralised product like RLUSD they made sure the capability of utilising RLUSD was maintained on the ledger the ability to track, change freeze etc all became latest ammendments to the XRPL, all the latest ammendments about KYC AML authorisations and certifications etc all about RLUSD. Every thing is geared around making internal smart contracts features on the xrpl based around RLUSD functionality. Everything. Even down to smart liquidity pools. ALL RLUSD related for making it more compliant with regulatory authorites. The XRPL has become RLUSDs rail. People see this news, people who arent beholden to the whims of XRP finfluencers also so this. Using XRP is "Optional" if liquidity can not be found directly using RLUSD. XRP is the spam filter for the transaction. Ripples news is always going to be about RLUSD its there true marketable product. They can not market XRP its not legally theirs (debatable by % ownership) but for regulatory marketing purposes XRP will never be marketed anymore going forward by Ripple other than an optional way to use the payment services. XRP is the northstar interms of the infrastructure but not as Ripples main product for banking license, for payment services, for hidden road.. You all hated me saying it when RLUSD was released, you all hated it when i said Stablecoins was always going to be the game plan when they got the AMM up and running. But thesises and XRP gurus wanted people to believe xrp will be the next world currency, the bridge of all bridges.. Narratives are disgusting, belief in them are even worse. Company strategies are always based on longevity and the long play. What would ripple do when xrp escrow ran out? They always needed another game plan.
