@james_tapraise Believe it or not, 9mm can puncture car doors, roofs, and side paneling. The only part of a vehicle that is “bullet proof” is the engine block as the bullet is going to hit multiple metal objections and be diverted several times.

NEW: Man Kidnaps Ex-Girlfriend in Texas, Leads Multi-State Pursuit Ending in St. Louis Critical Incident The Missouri State Highway Patrol released details in 2024 about the end of a multistate pursuit involving Ryan Phillips, who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, Delisha Evans. Phillips set fire to Evans's Texas home and kidnapped her. Troopers spotted Phillips's vehicle and attempted a stop, but he fled and rolled over his vehicle. Phillips emerged from the vehicle and raised a firearm. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy confirmed that Evans was deceased before the pursuit.

@nohitjerome Tbf, we didn’t know the tbc road map. That, rightfully, is garnering outrage since we are basically on mach 10 Perhaps the mentioning of Titanforged is preparatory? We’ll probably get the “classic+” reveal at blizzcon with an announcement that these realms are now TBC era.

hmm..they teased something for september but left us hanging until then to build up an event like this as classic and retail based and then say "check back in september" makes it feel disappointing why mention titanforged (china) and not release it in the west or drop the ID requirements? why do a show with the same public information we already knew? it was basically a recap of the last week of wowhead posts, not new information

this felt like of the biggest missed opportunities in Blizzard history.. blizzard just held a big “state of azeroth” event today and they announced: absolutely nothing here’s why this announcement felt like a massive missed opportunity for wow classic players 🧵👇

Eagles/Bucs 2002 NFC Championship Game: If you told me I could bet on this game after these 2 plays in the first minute of the game I would have put my entire bank account on the Eagles making the Super Bowl. Sadly, the other 59 minutes went the complete opposite direction for the Eagles and they closed out the Vet with one of their most disappointing losses in franchise history. No crowd in Philly will ever be as loud as this so for all the bad I will always remember this opening minute of the game.

@DaveKluge I think the more egregious part of this is being missed. The play received the standard turnover review, that was it. No extended look. Play clearly decided the game at that moment. Deserved more time under the hood. If they make same decision so be it. But look at it longer.

Gene does a great job explaining this. If the Cooks hit the ground and the ball simply popped out, no one would argue that it was a catch. He didn't complete the process. Because McMillan secured it before it touched the ground, it's an obvious INT.
Gene Steratore@GeneSteratore

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

The way #Broncos HC Sean Payton handled the Bo Nix injury news felt like a masterclass in a situation like that. * He stayed calm and opened with a joke: “I love you guys so much I wanted to come back.” (He already spoke to reporters 30 minutes prior.) * He then delivered the news clearly, with all the details. * He immediately emphasized that Jarrett Stidham is ready to go — building his confidence and signaling to fans, this is the guy (don’t speculate elsewhere). * Payton talked about his conversation with Bo Nix after learning the injury and dropped another joke — “I wouldn’t have drafted you” — again loosening the mood. * He made it clear he wanted to announce the news himself, even before telling the entire team, because there was no chance it wouldn’t leak and cause panic: “In essence, I’m talking to the team now.” * Once again, he reinforced full confidence in Stidham: “He’s ready… just watch. Here we go.” I don’t know how many people care about this stuff, but it really caught my attention. Considering the circumstances, I thought it was very well done.

@FwoiblesWoW is there a compounded list of known bugs that folks are experiencing due to pre patch? Paladins stuck with rank 1 consecration? Pally/warlock not receiving 150 riding if they completed the epic quest? Addons being fully updated but displaying out of date in game Etc

@EliotShorrParks Rage baiting to the max. You don’t watch that game or any game this year (except maybe the Vikes and raiders) and not come away embarrassed at the OC. Yes players need to execute, but if all these retired guys are saying the play calling is atrocious Eye test isn’t lying.

Nobody wants to hear this but Patullo called a good game yesterday Guys were open. They were on pace for like 500 yards at one point. Creative RZ calls No question they had 2-3 bad drives. But on final drive they called plays that got guys open and the players didn’t execute

@TheHonestNFL Is this an unprecedented situation? Having an offensive minded head coach who cant call plays or install his own system and who, for all intents and purposes, is untouchable because of his success. It feels unsustainable and that we are wasting away a dynasty window.

I’m going to make one post about the offense because I really have said everything I’ve wanted to say on it throughout the season. I don’t want to beat a dead horse by just repeating everything again. If I’m the Eagles decision makers, I’m not even allowing any OC candidate to be interviewed unless there’s proven evidence of a competent system that gives the offense outs within the formation based on the front/coverage presentation. This is stuff that’s completely outside of the players on the field, so I’m not saying any players should be free of criticism here, but the 2025 Eagles offense may have ran more plays into shit looks than any I’ve followed in years. I saw way too many elementary, minimally effective route conversions, minimal utilization of formations/alignments/movements to manufacture separation and/or create throwing windows, and minimal use of scaffolding routes and sequencing calls. If you don’t have a robust system that allows you to attack what’s presented, then you absolutely need to be able to string plays together to make yourself harder to defend (see: 49ers/Bears/Rams). It got to the point where everyone who follows what they do weekly started applauding them for even doing the most basic things that resulted in a positive result (myself included). What happened this season should never happen in the NFL. Everyone is welcome to have an opinion and there’s many ways to look at it, but I focus on system and scheme above all else when I watch, so that’s the perspective I’m coming from with this. It’s not a vindication of players failing to execute when the play is there to be made.

@ItsPummel Think my thought is from the perspective of “gold per hour” just playing the game. Reducing raw gold for a player just questing in the open world I believe sucks. But. Yes. Agree Mining/herb etc is great gold making over raw open world.

@ShowTimeSteve16 I don’t think so since most players farm specific items vs raw gold in my experience. Mining, herb, cloth etc. could be wrong about that since it’s anecdotal though

@N_Tys26 @Sodapoppintv China Titanforged has tried to combat the botting by reducing raw gold that mobs drop significantly, it’s not much but at least it’s a start.
