Dude, I keep seeing these posts everywhere and I’m hoping someone can actually break it down for me. VTubers constantly talk about the “good old days” of the pre-2021 era. They say back then the scene felt like a genuine tight-knit community where everybody pretty much knew each other. Now everything feels so different and not the same anymore. Is this purely nostalgia talking, or has the VTubing scene actually changed that much?

in my humble opinion, only the vtubers that resist change are stuck in their nostalgic daydreams…

As someone who was here at the stat of EN VTubing popping off it has changed a ton. At the start there was a lot of "let's get big together" mentality but a lot of it was false positivity that presented better. Now its about showing irl, starting drama, and dragging people down
