Culture Coins: A new class of Memecoins You could consider all memecoins as coins of culture. Memes themselves are defined as elements of culture that are spread by individuals throughout the world. The first big memecoin, Doge was based on a famous internet meme itself and the following wave of memecoins were mostly derivatives of Doge using animals as mascots. This cycle, we've seen a new class of memecoins emerge. Coins that embody the beliefs of real world communities that have shared values, identities, lifestyles, political views - Culture Coins. Given that the strength of memecoins are directly correlated to the strength of their communities, culture coins have a specific advantage in that communities are much stronger when their constituents can rally over shared beliefs. $TRUMP and $BODEN were one of the first examples of this with many holders sharing anti-woke, anti-Biden, and right wing views. Communities with strong values and identities naturally try to convert others to their beliefs and publicly display what it is they love about their lifestyle. They are inherently viral. The ideologies of these communities can be purely about politics, religion, consumer goods, sport, way of life or can be a mixture of all. The assets that pump the hardest (stocks, real estate, metals, coins, etc) are simply assets that people can best believe in @MechanismCap has accumulated positions of several culture coins over the last few months with an emphasis on coins we believe can appeal to large real world communities of exceptional culture that have a strong team/token community behind them & have compelling marketing campaigns ahead. We have taken an activist investing approach heavily supporting many of these teams. I will discuss two of my favorite - $MOUTAI and $ZYN MOUTAI Moutai is the best candidate to be the memecoin of China/Asia. This is a massive opportunity given that most memecoins thus far have western branding and roots but the amount of speculative capital from the east is equally massive. Western traders also know this so you can expect their bid just as much as asian bid. Moutai, also known as liquid gold, is the biggest consumer brand in Asia, specifically popular among the Chinese and Chinese diaspora. It is the highest revenue selling global liquor brand and at one point was the largest company in China with a market cap close to $1 Trillion. The attention and brand is already built in asia in the same sense that it was already built for the largest memecoins - Doge and Pepe. While massively popular Moutai itself is not a cheap liquor, retailing around $500 / bottle. People in China collect Moutai as an investment and collectible similar to wine, bags, cars - it is a symbol of wealth - so the action of collecting the token is not too different. Compared to animal coins, coins that represent consumer brands can have the additional advantage of leveraging the associated lifestyle of that brand for added virality. For example, Moutai represents success and is frequently drunk at events of celebration - weddings, business meetings, birthdays, etc. We are not far off from seeing Moutai coin sponsored parties and tasting events around the world. We are already seeing many bottles of physical Moutai consumed financed by the price appreciation of $Moutai. A circular economy of sorts Look out for global Moutai tasting events/parties, their partnership with Brave, Moutai man stunts and even Moutai ambassadors 1 $MOUTAI = 1 MOUTAI More Info x.com/ec__2017/statu… x.com/moutai_sol/sta… ZYN Zyn is a widely popular nicotine pouch product used across Americas and Europe. But it is not just a product, to many consumers, packing upper deckys, stuffing lip pillows, is a way of life. "Popping one feels amaZyn, even Zynful. Pair it with a nice Zynfandel and take a trip to Zynbabwe" theguardian.com/business/2024/… instagram.com/reel/C4QWSN1uK… Even before Zyn coin existed, the community of zynners had a thriving community of memes and zynfluencers. What's specifically interesting about $ZYN is that it is essentially the "bro" coin. A "work enhancer" product, its popular among athletes, finance bros, and those that want to grind their way to the top. These people typically have investible income and that's important. Look out for their Base migration, "Zyn to earn" program, and partnerships with KOLs at the center of Zyn culture. @stack__sats can hustle.
