Some things are so self evident that to argue over it with someone like you is tantamount to attempting chess with a pigeon. It doesn’t matter what I say, you’re going to shit all over the board and then strut like you’ve already won. Sure, slave labor played a very small role in the development of this country. But African slaves did agricultural work on plantations, almost exclusively. They had absolutely nothing to do with the technological breakthroughs, architecture, westward expansion, sourcing/securing of the vast resources necessary, capital investments, or the Industrial Revolution that made it all possible. If I use a hammer to build a house, did the hammer do the building or did I?

Slavery was never a “white people thing” - 4 out of every 5 slave owning Americans were jewish. During the peak of slavery in the U.S, 78% of slave owners were Jewish. Given that only 1.6% of the overall population owned slaves, and Jews comprised 3.125% of the population, this suggests that 40% of Jewish individuals owned slaves, compared to just 0.35% of white individuals.
