Vikas Meijer has offers from multiple premiership clubs for next season accoring to Tim Visser. Well deserved and good to see him get an opportunity to keep developing his game.

@T2Rugby @RugbyVandaag Pichardie was at Wasps at the wrong time. First season he had Dai Young in charge who, Jack Willis aside, only played academy players when we had nobody else available. Then COVID, then Barbeary and Tom Willis were first team regulars.

@RugbyVandaag I'll believe it only when it is confirmed but it would be amazing if he could get an opportunity at that level. Although when Pichardie was at Wasps as non-EQP he only got a couple Prem Cup games even though capable of more so don't know how it works out.

Having seen 2027 Rugby World Cup draw and the fact that most teams and their traveling fans must visit 3 different venues, often thousands of km apart producing a huge carbon footprint, I think World Rugby may need to review their Environmental Sustainability Plan 2030.

@T2Rugby I get why they went for 6 pools; it only creates an extra 4 matches to sell compared to the 20 4 pools would have created, which in a market where Rugby is struggling for popularity is a harder task.

Small request if anyone has time. Can someone draw up a mock RWC 2027 pool stage schedule that would include midweek games and matches on most days for 3 weeks with each side having at least 5 days rest between games to demonstrate with 4 team pools this was now very doable?
