Unfortunately, Coimbatore is setting an example for the wrong reasons lately. Incidents like these not only shock society but also create fear, anger, and concern among the public. A city known for education, industry, culture, and peaceful living should never become a headline for such disturbing crimes. At the same time, this should become a wake-up call for stronger policing, faster justice, stricter punishment, better surveillance, and greater social responsibility. The safety of women and children must be treated as the highest priority — not just as another statistic after every incident. People of Coimbatore genuinely want the city to be remembered for its growth, humanity, and values — not for heinous crimes that shake everyone’s conscience.
