Not really perturbed by Star Wars rankings that have Last Jedi at #1, but doing that and putting Force Awakens in the bottom 3 does feel a little performative IMO. I know TLJ has better themes but I'm not sure how much you actually like its primary cast if you don't like TFA

I think it’s ridiculous that Tom Holland says “dad” in an American accent in “The Odyssey.” It’s so inauthentic.
He should obviously say “πατήρ”, in heavily accented and unsubtitled Ancient Greek, so that all those people complaining can really understand it.

Editing my next big video which talks about the Bad Wolf era as a whole, but it's worth pointing out that while 'The Reality War' is a significant improvement over 'Empire of Death'...RTD just wrote the same finale twice in a row and it's pretty shameless.

Oh come on. It's so sad how the era ended, and that we didn't see the story as intended... ...but isn't Wish World/The Reality War a genuinely amazing finale? 😍 It feels like an unintentionally great conclusion to 15's era. The Rani is EPIC, and there's so much to enjoy 🙌💙💙

Fascinated at Nolan’s choice to use modern-sounding dialogue instead of the more formal, “proper” speech we typically associate with historical epics. Everyone seems to be using an American accent, even the Brits.

@TheMonkeyJungle Until Disney comes out and says the last Star Wars trilogy isn't canon I don't care. I had massive Star Wars friends growing up, these days we just make prequel jokes and praise the originals. We rarely engage with the Disney era SW.
The Last Jedi was a hate letter to the fans.

@ShroudOfTuring @miadoctorwho Yes, very funny after like a decade of people acting like Moffat's the one who ruined Gaiman's second episode when even Gaiman admits the Doctor's Wife was a full on co-write with Moffat by the end and famously 7 was the run where Moffat didn't get to overwrite other scripts

I think Nightmare In Silver’s biggest flaw is Mr Clever. Imagine how much better the story would be if 11 and The Cyber-Planner had contrasting personalities. 11 would be his usual self but The Cyber-Planned would benefit from being so much more robotic and cold and scary.

I’ve always controversially liked Thirteen more than Eleven and though while not hitting the same highs as other Doctor’s I still enjoy her iteration and in particular the arc she goes through. Her era isn’t my favorite but she’s a great character in my opinion.

if there are any differences, it would just be bc tennant hasn’t played him on screen full time for 13 years at that point. both rtd and tennant blatantly said they didn’t make the character any different
