you are not a green party member, you are on stan twitter and your idol is zack polanski. you are not a serious politics account. you are nothing more than a fan account. deeply embarrassing
Stats for Lefties 🍉🏳️‍⚧️@LeftieStats

Under the leadership of these "senior" Greens, the party endured flop after flop. With Polanski, Greens are on 16%, won 6 council majorities + 2 elected Mayors, won new MP, hit 1,300 councillors and have 220,000 members. These losers should shut up and let him get on with it.

@TerenceSm1th @earthygirl011 @TheGreenParty @UKLabour i think a green mayoralty over manchester has the potential to be great, and an actual winnable achievement for the party, makerfield has everything stacked against them it’s just kind of a wasted effort just to try and dunk on labour with a 3% vote share

@TerenceSm1th @earthygirl011 @TheGreenParty @UKLabour who said green shouldnt be an option? nothing wrong with a paper candidate, but a political party has to pick their choices carefully, especially the greens, funded entirely though the members and don’t have unlimited funds. save the campaigning for somewhere with a chance

I really want @TheGreenParty to win over Makerfield voters with brilliant campaigning & great policies, & beat @UKLabour & Reform But you have to be in it to win it Of *course* the Greens must show ambition & stand a candidate. Absolute no brainer Hope is here Vote Green 💚

@earthygirl011 @TheGreenParty @UKLabour i mean, it literally was mostly the muslim population of gorton and denton that voted green? regardless of what their reasoning was for it that was a huge part of why greens were able to do so well and why it was a battle against reform in the whiter areas of the constituency

@earthygirl011 @TheGreenParty @UKLabour gorton and denton has a VERY different demographic than makerfield. large muslim communities abandoned labour and moved towards green. makerfield doesn’t have that same makeup of people or phenomenon behind it. greens will stay at 3% in the polls and lose their deposit

@gothoperas @TheGreenParty @UKLabour Green Party got 2.5% in Gorton & Denton in GE24, Hannah Spencer took the seat on over 40% of the vote this year All bets are off Campaigning is never 'wasted' btw. It shows intent, even if you don't win first time. Give voters a left option on the ballot Vote Green 💚

i’m against celebrity idolisation but like, in the 50s and 60s there must not have been much more to do

been watching a few classic 50s/60s movies recently on recommendation from a friend and it’s my first time really seeing stars like marilyn monroe and audrey hepburn in action, and i’m starting to see why they were so idolised

@cezthesocialist and also most people aren’t that politically aware, it wasn’t until mid last year that labour really started to become unpopular with the masses and that’s when people started paying attention, so people didn’t really care what he said years ago about “you can leave” until then

@cezthesocialist would they have joined the greens if polanski hadn’t been made leader? possibly not but would the greens have been successful if YP had been? who knows really

@LeftieStats try having some reading comprehension? you are not interested in the politics of the party you just want to parrot and grovel at zack polanskis feet while seeing big membership number go up. its not a serious way to interact with a political party, its just making him an idol

zack becoming leader was just good timing for him. you only need to look at burnham potentially becoming PM to watch everyone who joined the greens with starmer as PM flock back to labour

let’s stop pretending that the green party have changed, they’re the same as they always were with or without polanski the party ballooned in size because labour told everyone else on the left to leave and there was literally nowhere else to go but the green party
