@JeddJedd Yea 😅. I know people like proven target audiences but time and time again from people far more talented then me we’d hear stuff that’s for women or even LGBTQI+ being deemed “too risky” but never given an initial chance especially after Covid! Definitely some good eggs but yea

@Shrubbette Funding is difficult, but finds its way to cis white males way more frequently than anyone else, and we can’t pretend like that’s a coincidence.

Oh my god what is this about funding being woke? Literally trying to find funding was probably the most demoralising experience with so many other women I know experiencing the same. So many of us got told our target markets weren’t viable etc etc etc

Where is this magical funding 😂

This is hilarious. 😂. Literally there were so many pubs that had not given a chance to a woman run studio and people were saying there’s too much woke funding????

@ALEPH_Sound @splice No this actually helps so, so much!!!! Thank you so much 🥹!!! I’m literally gonna a couple of these down on cards on my desk for “when I get stuck” which is often!!!! And oooooo that’s really good to know about convolution! That and granulators are my fav bit :D !!!!

Did a short tutorial for .@splice's YouTube channel about creating everchanging percussion rhythms using Ableton's stock Arpeggiator & Drum Rack to generate IDM-style riffs. I use this technique a lot in my music to help get rhythmic idea's started. You can check it out below

Unity’s pricing changes is going to kill charity bundles. No developer is going to want to give thousands of keys to bundles raising money for charities if it means they will cross the threshold for being charged by unity.
