had an idea for a shader last night to use in an app via metal, gave claude code a detailed paragraph describing exactly what I wanted and it nailed it. complete with some interactions and gyroscope access. the future is here. also, too many people are sleeping on shaders.

40 today! 🎂 feeling better than ever about life, family, work, and all the other things. much of my 30s were spent on this app with all of you crazy people, and i don’t regret a minute of it.
