I don't normally do this kind of thing but now I get a chance to stand on my soapbox and praise my 6 YEAR OLD SON A month ago (roughly) we were walking home from school. He has a ton of girls from his class that live on our street. One of them was teasing another little girl saying that she wanted my son to hug her. That little girl kept saying no. My son never approached her while we were walking. Instead, he turned and said, and I quote, "She said no so it's no." My 6 YEAR OLD son who is in KINDERGARTEN understood boundaries, consent, and that we keep our hands to ourselves, a concept that I explained to him ONCE. Parents, do better. It takes very little effort to raise a boy who isn't an asshole.
