@physicsgeek Exactly what happened. He was literally laughed out of an AMA meeting for his Helicobacter pylori work. Only in the mid-90s, when I was in med school, did it become avant-garde practice to treat with antibiotics.

Can AI perform reliable cycle analysis?
Not yet, not without human intervention.
I asked Claude AI (Sonnet 4.6) to generate a cycle composite for SPX, but I had to provide the data. In my opinion, it did a lousy job, even though it identified multiple cycles.
Once I provided guidelines on which cycles are dominant, it delivered an analysis closely matching my own. It still required human intelligence and expert experience. Here's the chart it generated:
