Just seems like interest in HS hoops has fallen off. I know IF my kid was in the championship game I would not miss it for anything!

So not sure if that’s considered still better. Not to mention the fans from SoCal have to travel 7hrs up to Sacramento.

It was also disappointing to see that all 12 state title games drew less than 12,000 fans TOTAL at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Time for a more intimate venue for this event. Several years ago the CIF State had to move the championship games to Haas Pavilion on the Cal campus for one season and the crowds/energy for those games were fabulous.
