@trigonis30 What’s the actual argument here? I feel like picking 2 school that’s in the championship vs arguing it’s no point for a D2 at EYBL is moving the goal post a bit. Are there any EYBL players at the D2 level? If it’s a no your point stands if not…..

@neprepreport @trigonis30 Always been D2 kids playing EYBL. I Coached a few. Some transferred D1- & some D1 transferred to D2. Even had a D3 All American.

@coachcarter120 @trigonis30 Where I’m at we do it all at the same time, most our students play multiple sports so it’s easier to do it all at one time. But for a viewing period exceptions need to be made

Usually the answer is that football is the priority when a AD sets a athletic department wide dead period

@penberthy_jon @trigonis30 No unfortunately it’s all sports in the school at the same time and football usually dictates the time. Crazy enough LAUSD doesn’t have a dead period.

That's a great idea because LA is easier for everyone including college coaches to get to but the current rules are the rules. LB Poly had a dead period but you followed the rules & did NOT do what a few others did: enter a HS Live period event as a "club team,"

The first two minutes or so was played with a boys basketball. 29.5 vs 28.5. How does that even happen?

Clovis (26-10) girls take on Centennial-Corona (23-5) in the D1 title game at 6:00. Centennial didn’t play their first game - according to MaxPreps - until Dec. 26 because of at least five significant transfers, including 6’7” Sydney Douglas. It’s different in SoCal.

@dontpicknick @pollonpreps @RonMFlores The seeding for d2 in north and south are different and geographically the teams in Fresno have gone north since 2016 and Bakersfield teams always play in SoCal regionals
