The first two minutes or so was played with a boys basketball. 29.5 vs 28.5. How does that even happen?

Clovis (26-10) girls take on Centennial-Corona (23-5) in the D1 title game at 6:00. Centennial didn’t play their first game - according to MaxPreps - until Dec. 26 because of at least five significant transfers, including 6’7” Sydney Douglas. It’s different in SoCal.

@dontpicknick @pollonpreps @RonMFlores The seeding for d2 in north and south are different and geographically the teams in Fresno have gone north since 2016 and Bakersfield teams always play in SoCal regionals

Maybe I should just schedule 2 tournaments at the coast to start the year! Pack my sun tan lotion and go get 8 wins, instead of playing 3 nationally ranked teams and 6 teams ranked in the top 25 in the state! Cuz that’s what gets rewarded, smh

@Randy_O24 All based on how large their section playoffs are.
For the central section it’s a 4 game playoff ending feb 27 or 28. All sections last game needs to be the last Saturday of Feb so the state can do state playoff ranking/brackets

Question…. How do different sections in California have different end dates for final games… teams we played still have multiple games left… would that affect a team’s final numbers on the computer rankings?
