But as a warrior who shows up, for herself, every single time. This World Menstrual Day, we're not just raising awareness. We're making room. For her story. Her strength. Her right to flow, without fear. To every woman fighting this fight: we celebrate you.

She is not just managing a cycle. She is managing her body like a battlefield every month, without fail, without applause, without anyone fully understanding what it costs her. The Grace Initiative for Sickle Cell sees her. Not just as a patient Not just as a statistic

Most women dread it. The cramps, inconvenience, counting of days. But for a woman living with sickle cell, her period doesn't just arrive it announces itself in crisis In transfusions In hospital beds In the kind of fatigue where even breathing feels like effort

Pain crisis is one of the most common complications of Sickle Cell Disease. It happens differently for every warrior, but certain things can trigger or worsen them. Here are 7 triggers every warrior should avoid to stay safer and healthier. ⬇️

What you eat shapes your energy, your immunity and how your body responds to crises. For warriors, food is not just fuel. It is support. Whole foods strengthen the body & support faster recovery, while junks weaken the system & increase fatigue. Prioritize Whole healthy Food!
