Far too many people who are victims of mis-selling are now facing financial ruin because of the loan charge. Their ordeal is the clearest possible proof the Government needs to think again. Today I pressed Ministers to agree to Labour's call for a new, truly independent review.

@jamesmurray_ldn Did you know HMRC have issued over 3000 s684. This goes against the independent SAM retrospective cut off at Dec 2010. I have s684 for tax years 2009, 2010 and 2011 sent to me in Dec 2023. HMRC persueing these tax years 14 years later Pls help @jamesmurray_ldn @loanchargeAPPG

@LCAG_2019 an ACTION group for c67,000 Victims caught up #LoanChargeScandal. Members have written to every serving MP. NOT ONE MP can say they unaware of the Loan Charge or uninformed. @loanchargeAPPG - 262 members - have issued rebuttals to every HMRC piece of mis-information.

@FT The #LoanChargeScandal victims of Doug Barrowman's AML include #socialworkers forced into schemes such as example below from @LordsEconCom report. Two of #LoanChargeSuicides (10 total) worked via AML.
