No, they weren't Blake and Sun had 5 seasons of build up and he had a whole plot of his own about winning the approval of her parents. That's just more shipping shit bleeding into the series. You wonder why viewership fell off and then clap at what caused it. Unfortunately the show is barely functional and will likely end with V10 because they ran off everyone who isn't a Yuri gooner

He wasn't the strongest, he was just clearly above Yang and Blake The verse CLEARLY has levels to power like every other super powered battle series. All of that went out the window because plot. Everything post V3 is just a mess and doesn't retain consistency. Even look at the horrible fights between RWBY and the Atlas Huntsmen team They destroyed them in teamwork and strategical combat, and then they start fighting and decide to get into 1v1s, suddenly they're all stupid and can't fight The show became slop
