And they can only demand to see it if they have reasonable articulable suspicion that you have broken the law. For the same reason they have to set up stationary checkpoints instead of random traffic stops. The checkpoint is allowed ONLY because it is minimal questioning. Anything beyond that requires CAUSE.

Traffic checkpoints are meant to check for licenses and impaired driving 🚦. But situations like this often spark debates about rights, ID, and police authority ⚖️. Moments like these show why it’s so important to actually understand the rules of the system you’re operating in 📚. Knowing what the law says, how enforcement works, and how these encounters play out can make a huge difference when you’re on the road 🛣️. Education changes how you move ✊.

Yes. They can stop you. Yes. They can question you. Yes. They can smell your breath or try to see if you're inebriated. No, they can NOT demand ID. No, they can NOT search your car. UNLESS they can articulate the suspicion of a crime. If they suspected him of DUI, or some other violation, it would be different, but they couldn't even get that far.

@SideTweetz @dj_dootytwankle @chimerawizard2 @Primewave96 False. They can pull over cars for DUI stops - Supreme Court says legal. Driving a car in itself is implied consent to show your id at a stop. You are arguing you can being drive a car and then not show your license to drive…. Smarten up

Everything is taken care of. She gets an amount of money to spend on anything she wants. She even admits that if she wants more, she gets it. The only reason to want more than that is to drain their finances, in which case, she should never be allowed near them. And I would say the same thing if it were reversed.

The one question nobody seems to be asking - do those bikes have a license plate on them and insurance? If not - then Ritchson driving them on PUBLIC ROADS is absolutely ILLEGAL. So that would negate pretty much everything that happened after he put those bikes on the roadway and make HIM at fault/liable for anything that happen afterward. 💯

🚨BREAKING: Side-by-side footage obtained by TMZ, along with Alan Ritchson’s own video, shows the moments leading up to his altercation with neighbor Ronnie Taylor. In the footage, Taylor stops Ritchson to address concerns about reckless driving through the neighborhood with his sons. When Ritchson then revs his bike toward Taylor, the situation escalates, and Taylor can be seen pushing him. The two exchange words, after which the actor proceeds to assault Taylor while Ritchson’s sons watch just feet away. After the altercation, the actor and his sons drive away. The footage also shows that neither Ritchson’s bike nor his sons’ bikes had license plates. According to reports, his sons are underage to obtain motorcycle licenses. Not only were they not supposed to ride these bikes according to the law, but they were also speeding through a residential neighborhood.

Bruh, I’m conservative and the dude got the ass beating he deserved. Not only did the dude step in front of Ritchson, he stepped out in front of his kids. There is a right way and wrong way to handle this. Stepping in front of a motorbike is the wrong way. Him being a celebrity is not the reason I think he was justified.

@Gstewy100 @TrumplicanWINN @Skint_Eastwood1 I agree with him either way. Looking back, he probably felt like it wasn't worth it to damage his bike and injure himself all to keep a douchebag who jumped in front of him from getting hurt.

@TrumplicanWINN @Skint_Eastwood1 I'm not a fan of Alan's personal views, especially his comments about Conservatives, MAGA and/or Trumpers I'm pretty sure I heard Alan say at 1:02 into the video "I COULD've run you over dude". He replied "You think" Did I miss where he said "I SHOULD've run you over"?🤷‍♂️

The dude is a complete TOOL, but he is right in THIS case. He laid the bike down to avoid injuring a guy who jumped in front of him on purpose, damaging the bike and injuring himself, when the guy who jumped in front of him is the one who deserved the injury. Ritchson did nothing wrong.

You people crack me up, saying he was with his rights? We don’t know how him and his kids were riding up and down that road. Once I heard him say I should have run you over he lost. You people always favor the actor. Why? These are people paid millions of dollars to pretend like there’s somebody else and you fall for it every time.

@Skint_Eastwood1 In this case, I think "snap" is a bad way to describe it. He acted reasonably throughout the entire encounter.

@SideTweetz @dj_dootytwankle @chimerawizard2 @Primewave96 False, DUI checkpoints are legal and they can certainly require a drivers license. He is operating a vehicle for gods sake. So this guy has zero recourse from going to jail. Nothing he can do and no evidence from the stop is impermissible from evidence.

I'm aware the cop doesn't. But I do. SCOTUS ruled that DUI checkpoints were legal, but were limited. ID can only be demanded after reasonable articulable suspicion is established, which this cop did not attain. They can stop you and ask you basic questions, but that's it. You don't even have to answer them. And they have to let you pass unless they can tell you what crime they believe you've committed.

Completely irrelevant to this case, though. And this is coming from someone who places the highest value on a homemaker. In this case, everything is taken care of, she has an amount of money she can spend on anything she wants, she gets even more if she asks for it, and it still isn't enough, because what she really wants is the ability to bankrupt them. My family was the opposite. My step-mother was stay at home and my dad worked long hours, but SHE controlled the finances, because she was the financially responsible one in the relationship. This woman might well be in a financially abusive marriage, but what she doesn't seem to realize is that she's the abusive one.

@SideTweetz @KeoweeSCgal @WallStreetMav Yes, because you don't pay your wife or husband to stay home...they do it for "free". Most normal households have both parents going out to work because life is that expensive and they come home and share in domestic labour.

@SideTweetz @KeoweeSCgal @WallStreetMav Nah...those are figures from 2019...and are the equivalent of market rates if you were to outsource the work to someone else. And bingo...that's why it's more financially viable for one parent to stay home because it's just that expensive.

@SideTweetz @dj_dootytwankle @chimerawizard2 @Primewave96 There is no case law on his stop. If the guy thinks he can challenge the the state law or the stop based on constitutional grounds, a jury would determine the facts and whether it violated any constitutional protections

@chezcheryl17 @KeoweeSCgal @WallStreetMav That's pretty inflated considering the myriad of couples with 2 or more children who make less than that combined on two incomes. But even if it wasn't inflated, it has no bearing whatsoever here.

@SideTweetz @KeoweeSCgal @WallStreetMav "The estimated cost of domestic labour and childcare provided by a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) with two children is significant, often valued at over $140,000 annually" ...he doesn't even make enough to cover that.

@jrblackshirts @dj_dootytwankle @chimerawizard2 @Primewave96 No, he doesn't. Police are allowed to stop you for brief questioning ONLY. For anything beyond that, they have to have reasonable articulable suspicion. That's actually the CASE law that the cop was trying to cite here, which he couldn't even remember, or understand.

I am happily married since 1985. I quit my full-time time job when my kids were 6 and 2. I had worked 10 years while married in my profession I went to school for. But I chose (my husband didn't make me) to be home with them more and chose to work at their school so that I could be home when they were home. Your comment to me, leads me to believe that you are OK with how this husband treated his wife. She is a trapped controlled woman in that scenario.

An allowance like she's a kid! 😡 This is a form of control and that's abusive. They aren't equal partners. She needs to confront him and express how his actions make her feel. Counseling would help if he would agree to it. If he doesn't want to understand her situation in the marriage and won't agree to counseling, she should get a lawyer. There's only one problem....how would she pay for a lawyer if he should refuse to give her money for one. Boy, she is really trapped if he doesn't change.
