Trump disclosed a flurry of at least $220 million in financial transactions earlier this year in the securities of major U.S. companies, according to two new financial disclosure forms released on Thursday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. The new reports cover the first three months of 2026 and reported transaction values in broad ranges rather than exact amounts, showing a cumulative value of between $220 million and around $750 million. The purchases included securities linked to companies such as Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Oracle, Broadcom, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, as well as trades in municipal bonds. Examples of large purchases, valued at between $1 million and $5 million each, were an S&P 500 Index fund, Nvidia and Apple. Large sales of between $5 million and $25 million each included Microsoft, Amazon and Meta. The filing does not always make explicit the type of security, such as whether it was a stock or a corporate bond.

Breaking NYT: The Trump Justice Department is dropping Biden-era charges against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. The reversal came after Adani hired a new legal team led by one of Trump's personal lawyers. Fed futures are now pricing in a 35% chance of a rate hike by January 2027 There’s a higher chance of 2 rate hikes(8%) than there is of seeing a rate cut(2%) between now and then. So basically you can forget any hopes of a rate cut in 2026. You’ll be lucky if they just pause

I was wrongly arrested after a restaurant who had “ChudTheBuilder” written down at the host stand before I ever walked in the door, conspired to have me charged. Then, I was held until noon on Mother’s Day. Had to cancel breakfast plans with my family. I was interviewed by the feds and bank account frozen. All electronic devices seized, as well as my firearm. The police cleared my multi-factor authentication keys after they took all my items so now I can’t sign into any of my iCloud or any other accounts. I could not care less about some hat. I am simply weary after 6 months of being attacked by our government for expressing the constitutional freedoms our ancestors fought and died for. Wake up America. It’s not illegal for White people to say the same word they say to each other.

say it with me: Data centers can actually lower consumer bills bc utilities have HUGE fixed costs (ie transmission) that don’t change with usage adding a massive new demand from data centers spreads those fixed costs across far more total kw/h sold, which reduces the price per unit for everyone
