Mena won because of lvl 2. That's, the win condition pretty much. Him having that being central to his gameplan doesn't mean he just played all around super well as well. Blanka is a fantastic character and his lvl 2 is potentially the best super in the entire game, that fact doesn't take away anything from Mena or his skills. Both things can be true. Him having access to it doesn't deny he showed amazing display of how to set it up and use it to its max potential. I also think that Mena displaying crazy ground game vs Daigo's fireball game kinda speaks more on how good Daigo's fireball game is. Daigo established a fireball game on the best Blanka in the world and that's an incredible task. Well played to both players, world class display.
