@nai_boop I got lucky to team w lash and doomsee, and had to prove to realize/tenhow that we could make it work. Tenhow spoke barely any English but since we had Homie it worked when doing vod and shit. The DTN guys were a no-go except Luna

one major reason for the growing gap between japanese players and apac south is not just their gameplay mentality but also the lack of effort to speak english or connect with other communities. for example, participating in 6mans could help bridge this gap

Retirement Announcement With the conclusion of this RLCS season, I’ve made the decision to retire from competitive Rocket League and move forward into the next chapter of my life. I started playing Rocket League back in 2015, when I was 14 years old. At the time, I was struggling with burnout in my personal life and felt completely lost. Finding this game gave me something to be passionate about again, and it became a major part of my life. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with countless people from around the world through this game. I’ve traveled to many different countries, gained life-changing experiences, and I can actually speak English now. More than that, the experiences I had and the people I met deeply influenced my values and how I see life. After graduating from high school, I faced a difficult decision between continuing my education or pursuing a professional career in Rocket League. Looking back now, I can say with complete confidence that I made the right decision. This journey has brought me so much joy and happiness. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family. I’m also incredibly grateful to all the fans who have supported me and cheered me on over the years, my teammates who played alongside me, organizations that provided support, the rivals who pushed me to grow, and everyone who has ever been a part of the Rocket League community. I truly couldn’t have come this far alone, and I’m deeply thankful to each and every one of you. The things I’ve learned through Rocket League go far beyond the game itself, they’ve helped me grow as a person as well. I truly believe that these experiences will be a great asset in the next chapter of my life. Thank you so much for everything. I hope you’ll continue to support me in the future as well.

@Maxeew_ I remember a convo we had back when we were teaming. We were genuinely trying to ask & push for 2/3rds rule on imports. Messaged the staff at rlcs, but didn't really answer and instead iirc removed / eased rules on imports instead. They showed us they don't listen from the start

i can’t even speak ill on imports since i abused that shit for seasons but how tf are you rewarding a specific minor region a LCQ for doing well just for it to be open for the whole world
