@f4grx @DrChrisCombs @BillieRubenMake @Applied_Ion @2ftg1 @makingtolearn @ToughSf @Explosions_Fire @MohitBhoite @nanographs Wow, I'm honored to be on this list of cool folks! I'm on the fediverse! My account is in my profile. Unsure if I'll stick around in this dump or not. But it's been fun. Cheers!

Remo.TV has a new drawing machine! I love that I still see new robots pop up on the site.

@tedyapo Here's some inspiration. Old owners left the board, which runs floor to ceiling in the basement hallway. Great for general purpose tools and a little shelf/workbench I put together.

@MakeAugusta @fast_code_r_us I just got some real adhesive hot glue sticks too (as opposed to the typical melt-but-dont-really-stick variety).
English

@SignalSkew @fast_code_r_us Turn down the heat and it takes a long time to cool off.
English

@MakeAugusta @fast_code_r_us Amazing tip! Can't wait to try this out
English

@fast_code_r_us Oh, with Hot Air gravity just soaks the glue into the board, wire, pins, etc and all of the air bubbles to the top. It's really like a cheap conformal coating.

@RobLudwick This crossed my mind as well. Apex also had some used (but nice) Kino clamshell cases out back under tarps. Most were very large but some could probably act as a checked bag.

@voctav @hackaday @AntonicVoja Congrats @voctav! Very well deserved. It was great meeting you this weekend!

Oh wow, I was totally off with how gliders actually propagate. I'll have to fix it later today. I brought a different computer with me to the conference, bit it's ok since I saved the source XCF images onto the CircuitPython drive just in case. I love OSHW

Every year @hackaday has had custom graphics for the event. They always look cool and interesting so I tried to create a 4 frame animation of some of my favorites (including the glider, which may have been an easter egg since it seems to seems to only appear once in the collage)

English

@Grazfather @hackaday The (real) badge this year uses a PIC24. I'm bringing my Pickit programmer just in case. To be honest I've never used it despite owning it for several years now.
English

@SignalSkew @hackaday Do you/people still use PICs enough to justify the big programmer?
English

@RobLudwick Thanks Rob! Won't be the same without you this year.

I don’t know who let me buy a laser cutter… all of us occasionally feel like we’re not enough and I’m here to tell you, you are. Will have some of these super simple kits at #supercon for trades or just to give. Shout out to @TechnoChic_ for introducing me to flat topped LEDs.
