Last week 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗺, a towering figure in Chinese journalism, died. On June 20th SOPA will posthumously honor him with a Lifetime Achievement Award. @Andreas__Rinke Weed's legalisation in DE's not uncontroversial, so German media's naturally interested in Scholz's answer. I think this is a great case of how foreign media's reports from their own perspective could unintentionally feed into a whole other discourse in another country & go viral

A Chinese-German transcript circulating online showed the student expressed his health concerns in his question about the potential ubiquity of #cannabis in Germany once he goes to #Berlin for study, but fell short of actually asking whether he 'has to' (muss) smoke cannabis.
